I’m SO annoyed right now! 😤 I understand accidents happen, but some accidents can absolutely be prevented when people drive responsibly!
First, let me say how PROUD I am of myself. Driving in the rain used to make me freeze up and panic because it was my biggest fear. I’ve been working on myself, and I’ve gotten SO much better! 🙌🏽❤️
Now I’ve been sitting in standstill traffic for THREE HOURS because of an accident, and it’s frustrating because people really need to be more responsible behind the wheel. SMH!
I’m always aware of my surroundings. I watch the cars around me, give myself plenty of space from the vehicle in front of me, and stay alert so I can react if something happens. I’ve even had someone pull a gun on me simply because I was driving the speed limit, so trust me, I’ve learned to be extra cautious and aware of the traffic around me.
BUT LET’S TALK ABOUT THIS! If it’s raining, visibility is terrible, and I’m already leaving a safe following distance, WHY IN THE WORLD would you cut directly into my gap?! 🤦🏽♀️ That space is there for a REASON! And if I’m already driving 75 mph in those conditions, why would you make an already dangerous situation even worse by cutting me off?!
WE HAVE TO DO BETTER! Slow down, pay attention, keep your distance, and stop driving like you’re the only person on the road. Your life matters, but so does everyone else’s!
Accidents happen, yes, but some situations can be avoided when people use common sense and drive responsibly. What makes me so mad is that somebody else’s careless decision can change your entire day—or even your life. 😤
