Busted my butt redoing our website this week! Have you seen it lately? Go give it a browse!

10/21/2026

Our website was in desperate need of a facelift and I cannot tell you how happy I am with how it turned out! It's a result of a lot of trial and error since, in addition to running the business, doing the social media, payroll, marketing, accounting, and actual pet care, I am also our web designer. So be easy on me but let me know if you see anything that is broken!

I've taken a lot of inspiration from many other pet care business websites from all over the country, and I'm so grateful to the community I have found in NAPPS that has connected me with so many incredible professionals. I'm so happy to be surrounded by so many people constantly raising the bar and inspiring me to do the same!

You’ve heard me talk about them for years, and you’ve seen them in more of our photos than we can count, but it’s time for me to tell you about my favorite pet product I’ve ever found, and the only product I’ve ever sold!

This is the Harness Lead. It comes from another female owned small business, and each lead is made by hand! I have made three wholesale orders at this point, and nothing makes me more excited than opening a box of fresh harness leads. My personal one I have used with Gemma (and many others!) for over three years now and it is still in great shape with no end in sight.

Each of my employees carries their own with them as well so we know for sure, no matter what the day brings, they will have a reliable and safe leash on hand at all times. I’ve even had employees buy their harness leads off of me after leaving the job because they love them so much!

If you’re interested in trying one out, let us know and we can drop one off for you to check out! Wanna go all in and order one? Let me know what size you’re looking for (or ask for our size recommendation) and I can tell you what I’ve got in stock. ✨🐾

First visit with our new friend Allston went something like this today ☺️ and his parents warned me he may bark at me when I arrived! We bonded so quickly at our meet and greet that there was no hesitation when I arrived today and we had the most lovely walk. I love adding new kiddos to our pack, especially ones this excited to see us 🥹

A look back at some of my favorite photos from my dog walks and pet visits this month!! Some goofy faces, some lookers, and some goofy lookers.

Would you guys be interested in seeing monthly/weekly photo round ups from us? Trying to find a fun new way to share our pet photos, because we sure as heck have a lot of them!

Nacho and Fuji, our most recent *I’ll make you love me* challenge

Even without the full view of his eyes you can tell Baxter was having a great time 🥹

Fan favorite Jack!

Ginger, looking like a cartoon version of a startled cat

Our new buddy Axel!

Bandit serves Goof at all times

Have you ever seen a boy as handsome as Montana?

Levitating Jake

This photo is what it’s like to hang with Josie for any amount of time 🤣

Ginger is completely blind so it’s a good thing she got up on my shoulder so she could see better

Harley has the kind of ears that men start wars over

Maple presses her head into your hand when you pet her and it makes me want to cry it’s so cute

Baxter’s luxurious tail cannot go unnoticed

Milo’s parents were worried he’d be too scared and we’d never see him. Suffice it to say, he enjoyed our visits 🥰

Was only slightly worried about what hex Peppa, Sully, and Skye were putting on me by staying in this formation for so long

Just the sweetest photo of our sweet Lucy

Junior has a crocodile jaw so I only will toss his treats but he’s got a pretty spotless track record for catching them!

Hi!!

I’m Devon and I own Devon’s Pet Care Co. Here’s a quick little intro post to me, the company, and my sidekick 🦊

Bonus: that first photo is the exact moment I addressed Gemma by my best friend’s name right in front of them 🤪

I’ve seen a couple posts lately looking for weekly dog walkers, so I wanted to share to you all that we’ve recently had some spots open up in our midday schedules! We’re usually booked pretty solidly from 10-3 but we have some openings, as well as openings for vacation care. And don’t forget to book your pet care for the holidays sooner than later, because that’s when our schedule really gets tight!

If you’ve been following us for a while but haven’t filled out our contact form yet, what’s stopping you? The best time to get established with professional pet care is BEFORE you need it, because then when you do need it, all you need to do to secure reliable pet care is to click “BOOK SERVICES” on your account!

Fill out the contact form - or send me a DM with your location and ask for the M&G link - and I’ll send it your way!

Shared some posts in some local facebook groups with these happy faces, thought I’d share them here too!

Kinda chic to jump on a trend in only a slightly belated way?

I love this trend bc it’s a way to gently flex and honestly we should all be doing that more anyway.

In summary, it’s kinda chic to do what you believe in and be exactly who you are.

Key words: dog walker, pet care business, small business owner, college drop out
