UPDATE: no longer available

This is Milo. He is 11 months old. He has been living with goats since birth. This is not my dog so I do not know much about him. His mom texted me and said she needs to find a home for him. If you are interested and want more information, I will send you her number. Milo is in Arkansas.

As you all know I lost my alpha male Elvis this year at 14 years old. I never lost a critter on his watch. I have lost quite a few chickens and had a dead calf. Not sure at this time if the calf was predator reason. Meet EJ, he is part Pyrenees and anotolian. My old girl Alley has been teaching him the ropes. Hopefully she will get most of his training done before she decides to join Elvis. Once I get him raised and trained, I will find a companion for him to help. My farm will be predator free again soon.

I’m thinking about getting a puppy for my girl to train before I loose her. If any of you that got a puppy from me in the past, if you have puppies, please let me know. Thank you.

I currently still have two of the Pyrenees/collie puppies from the litter that I sold last year. I have been training them with the border collie dad to move and herd my cows. They have been doing very well. They are 1 year old as of the beginning of October. I do not need three herders out there. I have a small herd so 1 is sufficient for me. So I have a female that is spaded “Samatha” and a male “Jax” looking for new pastures to guard and/herd. There will be a rehoming fee for these trained dogs and you must have creditionals that they will be well provided for.

We lost a very special dog today. He will be missed. He was not just the best guardian I have ever had, but he was my baby. My biggest regret is not having a puppy from his linage. RIP Elvis. We can never replace you.

This rain has been crazy and of course when you have livestock it is a lot more work. My fence came down and the cows were out and ran up the mountain. My teenager and I headed up to get them. Some of you know I have a Border Collie trained to herd my cows where I need them. I have two puppies left that are 6 months old they were oopsie pups that had a Great Pyrenees mom. They are the perfect breed. I have Guardians and herders in one. The pups lay out with my pyrenees guarding but when it comes to moving the cows they have been training with daddy. My son said my dogs turned them around and brought them home. I was half way up the mountain when they were coming back with the dogs on their tail running like they were on fire. Daddy and pups put them right in at the pond where my fence was still up and stayed at the gate until I got over there to close the gate. They are priceless. I thought about selling one more pup but I now know they will stay permanently.

Some things do stay the same. The top picture is last year on this day and the bottom picture is now. It is very peaceful out here listening to nature. I may not be in a pew this morning but Gods presence is all around me.

This little girl is still available.
