Burnout in motherhood can get personal fast.

Because you don’t clock out. There are no sick days, no lunch breaks, no clean reset. So instead of saying “this is too much,” we often say “I’m not enough.”

That’s burnout talking… not the truth. 💛

It's the little victories

For a span of almost 2 months, I would dread being in the car because it was not a fun place. My babies would not fall asleep im the car and oftentimes would cry and scream leaving me feeling helpless because I am driving and can't get to them.

So you can imagine how very excited I am to have not just one but BOTH babies asleep in the car 🥹

If the car isn't a calm place for you, I totally get you mama.

📚 Reading Chase the Lion and wow…

You know when a book puts language to something you’ve been feeling but couldn’t explain? That’s this one for me.

Now that I’m a mom, I understand why children become such a powerful source of purpose for so many people. They call you higher. They expose your wounds. They teach you how deeply you can love. They make you want to become more than you were before.

That has been true for me. Motherhood has stretched me, softened me, and made life feel deeper in ways I never expected. So has growth. So has trusting God before I can see the whole picture.

And for anyone still searching, I hope life begins for you too, in whatever path, dream, or purpose feels worth giving your whole heart to. đź’›

Rian has not napped since 10am... it is now 435pm.. both babies are screaming now and I spent pretty much the whole day in and out of the nursery chasing sleep...

That is my hard today.
