If your pet is overdue on his/her rabies vaccine, please call in to make an appointment. Rabies is in an uptick in Ohio due to bats, and that includes our own county. Indoor and outdoor dogs and cats need to be vaccinated, and it is the law per our health dept. Rabies is nearly 100 percent fatal, and our vaccines are safe and effective. Please take precautions in this heat! Keep your pets inside as much as possible. Always provide shade and water. Walks are a no no and never leave your pet in a car! Be extra cautious if your dog is a brachycephalic (short nosed), they cannot pant efficiently.
