Delmarva Equine Clinic provides emergency services for current regular clients. We do not have an obligation to attend emergencies for non-clients.
What does that mean?
A current regular client is one whose horse has been seen for a routine non-emergency appointment within the last 365 days.
A non-client is someone we have not seen for routine appointments within the past year, clients with past due balances or unpaid invoices, and former clients that have been discharged by Delmarva Equine Clinic.
On occasion, Delmarva Equine Clinic will cover emergencies for other local equine practices. During these pre-arranged coverage times, we treat the other practice’s clients as if they were our own clients; however, we reserve the right to decline services to individuals who have a prior history with our practice involving unpaid balances, inappropriate behavior, or other circumstances that may affect our ability to maintain a professional relationship.
