I really need to get better at social media, but I am generally so consumed by the work I do that taking videos and posting them just gets lost in the shuffle. We have just welcomed an absolutely beautiful litter of puppies, and it’s been an all consuming effort. I absolutely love raising puppies and commit to giving them the best eight weeks in my hands that I possibly can. We have seven yellow puppies, most of them should end up dark yellow or red. They are gaining steadily and momma Maple is doing an amazing job with them. We still have males and females available, reach out for details.

At this point I think her Benebone collection might outweigh her. I’m so happy with the progress this little dog has made. She’s a TON of fun to train.

Gus is here from Sag Harbor NY for the next five weeks to learn obedience and to learn be a better companion to his owners. Today was his first day of lessons, he’s already making big strides! Lucky for us he LOVES food and loves to work!

“I’m gonna go take the dog for a swim”

I thought it would be a good idea to start assembling the videos I make during the day and posting them as much as I can. So you think you wanna be a dog trainer?! Well here’s a little glimpse. A little bit me, a lotta dogs. If you work with dogs 24/7, it’s a different lifestyle. I had to leave for a couple of hours today for a veterinary thing and it pushed my days schedule to past 11pm. Had a little time to assemble this video while I waited through an Epsom salt soak on one of the dogs.

Another beautiful day, with dogs of course. I wish it was possible to show all the parts of my day, so much not pictured! Summer is always busy and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Luckily the days are still long, and we are using every minute of daylight we have. Fireflies out in force tonight!
