🌧️🐾 Rainy weather can mean more mats and muddy paws!

Wet coats can hold onto mud, grass and tangles. If your pup comes inside damp, gently towel-dry the coat and brush it once it is dry—especially around the legs, belly, underarms and behind the ears.

She-Sheds Pet Grooming LLC is now booking October baths, cleanups and full grooms. Teeth brushing can also be added to a grooming appointment for $10.

Before and after on Ms. Chloe shes in such a better home than previously.

She came to me a few years ago covered in mats and fleas, and then last Christmas she was dumped at the park, some nice kids brought her in the city hall and city hall gave me a call asking if I could give her a much needed groom. I did just that. Then she went to the current home shes in and is very loved. She came back for a groom today and im so happy on how she looks now!!!

Douglass Frontier Days is Saturday, September 12, and I have a few grooming openings available before the festivities!

Appointments may be available September 7–11 for full grooms, baths and fresh cleanups. Teeth brushing can also be added to any groom for $10.🪥

With the hot weather continuing, please keep your pup’s transportation cool and check pavement temperatures before letting them walk on it.

To keep every pup’s information accurate and our grooming environment safe, all new and current clients will be asked to complete an updated client information sheet for 2027.

I will also need updated copies of each dog’s vaccine records—even if they have previously been provided—so they can be verified and placed on file for the new year.

✅ Rabies: Must be current and administered by a licensed veterinarian, as required by Kansas law
✅ Distemper (DAPP): Must be current or updated when due in 2027

Please bring or send your dog’s records before their first grooming appointment of 2027. Thank you for helping me keep my records organized and all the dogs who visit She-Sheds Pet Grooming safe! 🩷🐶🩵

The policy for fleas and mats still stand! Please make sure your dogs are treated with flea and tick meds along with brushing them in between grooms to prevent matting. I do charge a fee of $10 each additional service. For fleas I give a flea bath along with a DEEP cleaning of all my tools, and bathroom to ensure fleas are gone.

🐾🐾That additional price will go up in 2027 as its getting expensive for the professional grade flea shampoo I use and DEEP disinfectant I use for fleas for everything. Be on the lookout 👀 for the price to change next year!🐾🐾

Mats are hard to comb or scissor out I do have to use my clippers which is hard on them, so an extra $10 for any mats I have to clip out of your dog. Its for the safety of your dog.

I’ve been thinking about adding homemade dog treats to She-Sheds Pet Grooming! 🐶🦴

I’m thinking simple, yummy recipes made with dog-friendly ingredients — like pumpkin & peanut butter — that you could grab for your pup when you pick them up from their groom. 🥜🎃

But before I jump into it, I want to know…
