Ever wanted your horse in quality training, but it was too expensive? Or you want your horse to get a little bit more exercise without having to pay someone to do it? I might have the perfect situation for you!
Naomi Dupras Dressage has a training stall available for the right horse. I'm looking for someone who'd be willing to let me use their horse in a lesson once, maybe twice, a week as a part of my small program. In exchange, you would receive discounted (or even free!) training sessions/lessons. I'm pretty open to different ages, breeds, and sizes as long as it's safe and patient for beginner riders and enjoys being in the ring. The stall can accommodate a draft or draft cross as well. You're able to choose if you want to do rough, semi-rough, or full board as well, making the cost more adjustable and affordable for your situation.
Feel free to send a PM or email [email protected] with any and all questions! I can answer more specific details that way and assess if you and your horse would be the right fit 😊
About the facility:
🌟 Small, private barn located in Douglas, MA with friendly boarders
🌟Access to the beautiful trails of Douglas State Forest
🌟Indoor and outdoor rings
🌟Standards and poles available to make a small course, as well as barrels
🌟Very affordable rough, semi-rough, or full board options
🌟Customizable turn out schedule in either a group or individually with fenced in paddocks
About the training:
I'm a USDF Bronze Medalist and MA licensed insturctor specializing in classical dressage and western dressage training. My goal is to have the horse working their body correctly and effectively, taking into consideration the individualized needs of every horse. As my client, I would prioritize your goals for you and your equine! I'd love to make your horse rideable for you so you can enjoy them with peace of mind. I love taking exercises from different disciplines and applying them to my sessions. I truly believe groundwork is just as important as anything under saddle, and enjoy taking time to go back to basics. As my student, I like to explain things thoroughly in a way you can understand, making sure you leave your lesson feeling relaxed and confident. We tackle your goals as a team, figuring out the approach that works best for you and your horse together.
