Got a horse that doesn’t like it’s face touched? Head shy? This is a cool, fun, safe way to help those problems. Fill up regular balloons with water and tie to its halter. It won’t hurt their face and will bounce around to help desensitize.
I have already done a lot of desensitization with this horse so I knew it was safe to turn her loose in the pasture. If your horse is super scared, slowly introduce it in the round pen, and have someone there to help you. 😄
