Munson Produce Fresh produce that is in season, and homegrown. Munson produce is a family based business that grows vegetables.

We will be taking our produce to Kankakee Farmers' Market, Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. - 12 noon starting in May.
2 blocks south of Court Street on Schuyler

We will be selling the following produce as it comes into season:

Lettuces (red, green, blends and romaines)
spinach
rhubarb
radishes (red and white)
sugar snap peas and snow peas
beets
onions
broccoli
cabbage
raspberries and blackberries
zucch

ini (green and yellow)
green beans
okra
peppers (bell, sweet banana, jalpenos and habaneros)
sweet corn (several variets of bicolor, white, and yellow)
tomatoes (slicing, romas, cherry, yellow pears)
fall squash (butternut, acorn, spaghetti, delicata, celebration and harlequin)
pumpkins (minis, pies, jack-o-lanterns, whites and reds)
fall decorations
popcorn

It was a cold, windy, rainy start (sounds like the start of a novel) but the 2016 farmers market kicked off on Apr 30th. Thanks to the many brave souls coming out to the Kankakee Farmers Market. I was selling, and will be next weekend, lettuce, kale, arugula, and radishes; and of course our GREAT corn fed beef hamburgers. The crops in the field could use a little warmth to help along but they are looking great at this stage. Hopefully will have sugar snap/snow peas and green beans by Memorial Day weekend. See ya at the market.
