Toolittletoolate is squealing and playing on the walker this morning, it may be time to find him something to do. It's time to start checking the condition book and watching the overnights.

Toolittletoolate ran 4th Today at Turf Paradise. We were about 2/3rds of the way through the 6 furlongs when It became obvious the we brought him back too soon. He had to work pretty hard last week andhe and his stablemate both needed a bit more time between efforts. He will get a much needed rest and then we will go at them again. The report is that they got back to the barn fine, just tired.

Equibase has our morning line odds for Wednesday's race at Turf Paradise at 8/1, and picked to run last in the six horse field. There's a writer for the daily racing form, DRF, that has some thoughts about Toolittletoolate that they don't seem to share.

We are running Toolittletoolate back at them Wednesday. He came back in great shape and he is ready and wants to run so we will let him have another go at them. He will take on 6 others, including stablemate Bedrock going 6 Furlongs in the 5th race from Turf Paradise. Post time is 3:05 PM MST

Toolittletoolate ran a nice third for us today at Turf Paradise. We thank Shawna Christian and the entire barn for having him ready to run and Sandee Nicholson and her friends for showing up to support him.

Toolittletolate goes back at them next Wednesday the 21st of January when he take on ten others trying to get home first in the 6th race. Post time for the 5 1/2 furlong race from Turf Paradise is 3:33 PM

Toolittletoolate out for his morning jog, most days he does 2 miles, one jogging and one at a gallop. It's done his back and butt a world of good.

We have had some great experiences with our little stable over the years and some milestone moments that we we were able to be a part. January 7, 2021 was one of them. She's a Lady Griz won a $30,000, maiden optional claiming race at Turf Paradise for us. Aki Kato was up, That win put us in the Blood Horse Magazine and Aki was voted by the Jockey's Guild as the top Jockey of the week.

That win was Aki's 50th consecutive year with at least one win. That turned out to be his last win, but it was also his first and only one on his Birthday. He was 69 that day. So If Aki still shows up on the back side at Turf Paradise and you see this, tell him Happy Birthday and show him the post.

There's a little bit of news on the racing side of things here, Tacha Gold's 2025 C**t by a proven sire standing at Harris Farms Horse Division in Coalinga, California, Acclaimation has a name. He will go through life as Acclaim the Gold. Sam and Bev Kirkaldie, Judy and I have equal interests in this c**t. Nothing gives you something to live for like an unraced c**t.
