Webster County Animal Care and Control The Webster County Animal Shelter is a County run Taxpayer funded facility. We ask that you consider adopting from us and save a life in the process!

🐾 Dedicated to caring for homeless dogs, reuniting lost pets with their families, and helping dogs find loving forever homes.

🐶 Adopt • Foster • Volunteer • Donate ❤️

Together, we can make a difference—one dog at a time. 🐾 We do on occasion have to euthanize some dogs for health or aggression issues, but we have been "NO KILL" since 2016. We do not take any Cats at this time. We do not have a place to house them.

🐾 MEET LUNA – LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME! 🐾

Luna is a beautiful 1-year-old Hound mix who is looking for a patient, loving family to call her own!

Luna is currently in a foster home, where her foster mom has been helping her build confidence and learn what it means to feel safe and loved. Once you earn her trust, she is an incredibly sweet, affectionate girl who wants to be by your side!

❤️ A Little About Luna:

* Great with other dogs and does okay with cats!
* Potty trained and knows “stay” and “go out.”
* LOVES running, barking, and playing with other dogs!
* Enjoys swimming in the lake!
* Learning to play with balls and toys.
* Loves being close to her favorite person!

What Luna Needs in a Home:

Luna has some fears that her future family will need to understand. She is very cautious around men, frightened by ceiling fans, uncomfortable in small confined spaces, and afraid of getting into vehicles. She is also sensitive to correction and responds best to patience, reassurance, and positive reinforcement.

Spay Information: Luna has not yet been spayed. Her spay surgery will cost approximately $150.

🐾 Please share to help Luna find her perfect match!

💙 MEET ODDIE 💙

Oddie is a 1-year-old Pit who may need a little more help finding the right home—but the right home could make all the difference for him.

🐱 NO CATS
👧 Good with kids
✂️ Must be neutered within 60 days of adoption

Oddie isn’t going to be the right dog for every household—and that’s okay. We’re looking for the home that’s right for HIM. ❤️
