A little teamwork and a whole lot of progress from Bo and Chooch! 🐾

If you had seen Bo on the day he was dropped off for training, you would understand just how far he’s come! This boy had so much energy that I was practically grabbing onto anything I could to keep from being dragged around. 😅 Fast forward to now, and we’re seeing a much more manageable Bo on the leash!

Meanwhile, Chooch is getting some valuable proofing practice with his “place” command. With all the movement happening around him, including Bo walking nearby, he’s learning to remain neutral and hold his position without getting caught up in the excitement. 👀

Two dogs with different training goals, both making some great progress! 💛

Can you spot the one who doesn’t quite belong in our newest group of students? 👀🐾

Let’s welcome our newest group to the K9 Life Lessons family!

Lucy, Bear, Chance, Lewis, Chooch, Bo, and Winnie

If you guessed Lewis, you’re right! 💙 Our newest little addition is officially two months old, and while he isn’t quite ready for obedience training, he’s definitely been keeping us busy! 🍼

For those wondering, we’re still here and the dogs are still training! Our next available Board and Train start date is November 7th.

I’m slowly working my way back into a routine, so please bear with me as responses may take a little longer than usual. Social media posts will also continue to be sporadic as we adjust to life with our newest family member. 💛

If y’all haven’t noticed me getting a little bigger over the last several months, surprise… I’m pregnant 🤰💛

I’m currently in my third trimester, and as I get closer to meeting this little one, I’m trying to be more intentional about where I spend my time and energy. Social media has always been one of those things I struggle to stay consistent with, and right now I’m choosing to prioritize my health and family over trying to keep up with a posting schedule 🐾

That means my posts will be even more inconsistent than my normal inconsistency for the foreseeable future 😅 The dogs are still training, and K9 Life Lessons isn’t going anywhere 👀

I may be posting less, but I’ll still be sharing updates, progress, and the occasional behind-the-scenes look when I can.

We finally decided on a name for No Name 🎉

🐶 Meet Dara 🐶

Journey was a close second, but Dara just felt right.

This past week of training, she has done very well with her obedience 👀 She’s been putting in the work and continuing to show more as the days go on.

As we spend more time with her, we’ll continue learning what type of home will be the best fit for her moving forward 🏡
