Gotcha Day!!

This week we had 11 adoptions: 10 cats and 1 lucky dog! Each adoption means a new beginning for that animal and another opportunity for us to give hope to an animal in need!

The support you all show our animals by sharing and liking their stories, letting your friends know we are here, and helping us provide for the animals means so much to us. We are lucky to be in this community.

🚨THE CARE House in Woodland Park will be closed for the next week 🚨

From 9/6/26 to 9/14/26, the CARE House will be closed to the public while we complete major projects and renovations. Please do not leave donations at this facility while we are closed.

The shelter will reopen Tuesday at 10 am and will have normal business hours.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We promise it will be worth it!

Join us today at Tractor Supply Co. from 10 am to 2 pm!! We highly recommend calling to set up an appointment today if you want to come in and meet anyone.

This will make sure the animal you want to meet is at the shelter.

We will be closed Sunday and Monday for Labor Day, and will open back up on Tuesday at 10am

Jennifer has been part of TCRAS since 2000, and her dedication has never wavered. She has been a strong advocate for the animals and always wants the best for them. She has served as a key member of the Board of Directors since 2015 and helps guide us to a bright future.

Jennifer loves spending time with her husband and her beautiful cat Emma. We are lucky to have Jennifer as a volunteer and board member, helping us continue our mission of Fostering Hope and New Beginnings.

Tail Tapping Thursday!!

We are hiring!!

We have an open part-time bookkeeper position and are eager to fill it! This would be a hybrid position with in-person time at both the CARE House in Woodland Park and the Shelter in Divide.

Thank you so much to Rescued Hearts Unique Boutique! Not only do they support us but many other animal welfare organizations!

Please go shop or volunteer with them, they do A LOT for animals! 😊🐾❤️

Today Angie and Kathleen from TCRAS (Teller County regional animal shelter) picked up a grant check. they are a small shelter covering an entire county, but they have dedicated staff and volunteers who make it work. Congratulations!

This handsome guy has been with us since July and has had very few visits. He is a smart dog with plenty of energy to go around.
