With the extra moisture this year comes mosquitoes. We have seen more illnesses that are spread by mosquitoes, so please read below for what you can do to protect your animals.

🐾 Dogs, cats – Heartworms, a deadly parasite spread by mosquito bites, can be prevented with consistent heartworm prevention.
- Call to set an appointment to get your pet tested for heartworms and renew preventatives.

🐴 Horses – West Nile Virus cases are on the rise and can cause serious neurological disease. Vaccination is the best protection.
- Call to get up to date on vaccines

👉 Reduce mosquito exposure by eliminating standing water and keeping animals inside during peak mosquito hours. Mosquitoes do get inside easily, so even your indoor animals are at risk.
