I’ve been getting messages asking if we our self service dog wash You Dirty Dog is open yet or when we are going to be open. And if I’m being honest, I should’ve been open a month and a half ago. But unfortunately, I picked the wrong plumber. He scammed me out of $3300. Did some of the work and then ditched the job, took all the parts that I paid for, and now I’m having to have another company come out, fix and finish the job, and it’s gonna cost an additional $5500… Obviously, I don’t have that just laying around, unfortunately. and I’m not gonna let this con artist keep me from opening up! So I’ve come up with a few ways that I can raise the money! I will be seeking shirts, hats, hoodies. I can also do event banners, personalized sports balls, prepaid self service wash packages. The self-service wash will be $20. but if you purchase a package, then essentially one of the washes is free. So for example, a package of five self-service dog washes would be $80, but if you bought individually, it would be $100 that you spent paying one at a time. If you feel it in your heart to donate, if you don’t need any of those things, that would be greatly appreciated! I’m not a good taker, I’m a much better giver so it’s always been hard for me to reach out and ask for help. This self-service dog wash is more than just opening up another business. it’s allowing me to take a step back from grooming and be more available to my daughter and the things that she’s doing right now. yet not having to worry about grooming so many dogs every day just to live .
