Snoop's favorite thing in the whole world: a blueberry Boomer Bite cookie. 🫐🖤

He knows the sound of that bag from a mile away, and he will absolutely stand there with his tongue out like he hasn't eaten in a week. 😂

Wednesday motivation: find the thing you love and go after it like Snoop goes after a cookie. 🐴🍪

Vet day today! Snoop got his hocks injected and a BAL done (results in a week or so). We are about ready to make our come back! 🙌🏻🦄🖤

Took the boys out to an exhibition last night. 🖤 It's been 5 months since they've seen barrels away from home. They've been rode since mid August and working the barrels at home for about a week, so this was the next step.

Snoop felt good. We still need to get some air in them to really find our groove again, but that big arena is exactly what they need to start building it back.

Rust knocked off, and now we keep building. 🐴💨

Missing the Pink Buckle this year. 🥲 It just wasn't in the cards — life pulled me away from riding for a while, and Snoop's comeback meant building him back up the right way instead of rushing to make it happen.

Here's a throwback to last year's Pink Buckle, and a promise that we'll be back. This time off wasn't wasted — he's looking and feeling better than ever, and next year we're coming for it. 🐴💪

Breaking out soon!!

Looking and feeling great. 🖤

Snoop put in a good workout today, then got to graze on some grass and cool off with a hose down afterward. Simple day, but a good one — he's really coming into himself again.

Loving where he's at right now. 🦄🖤

Big day. 🖤 Finally got the arena drag fixed and worked up the ground after this last rain — it turned out great, so barrels went back up. So nice to finally have the dirt ready to train on.

Today was the first time Snoop's seen a barrel since May 15th, and he went right to them like no time had passed at all. Trotted a few circles around each one, loped a few more, then let him go through a slow set. He felt amazing — didn't miss a beat.

This horse doesn't forget. 🐴🛢️
His comeback is going to be stellar 🦄🙌🏻

Progress check. 🖤 First two pics are from 7/22, last two are from today. Fat to fit

You can start to see it — topline's filling in and looking tighter, a little more definition showing up through the hip and stifle, belly's not as soft either. It's not a dramatic before-and-after yet, but the work is starting to show.

Slow and steady really does work. Proud of this boy. 🐴 he’s going to come back so strong 💪🏻
