Walnut Creek Farm’s own Elise Kobeski will be making her FEI debut with her sweet gelding Ferruccio De Lys at Dressage at Devon. There is so much involved when competing at the CDI level that we would not be doing it without our experienced trainer Tamara Todorovic. Elise hopes to inspire other young people to incorporate Dressage in their training!

We are also grateful to Heather Blitz for coming up last weekend and Lucy Helstowski for always keeping us focused on the important details. Just being here is a win. I’m also looking forward to competing at fourth level myself, thank you Karen Ramsing-Bixler for your insightful tips this week.

Dunmovin’s Dressage Days at Devon recap:

Showing at Devon was about so much more than competing at a beautiful show ground.
-Our amazing little group got to prepare together, support each other, and spend those extra moments with our horses each day.
-we got to see our trainer Tamara Todorovic in action guiding and encouraging multiple riders, at multiple times, in multiple rings…… and competing 2 horses herself.
-little Josephine represented the new generation of horse riders and was just about the cutest thing we’ve ever seen.
- Elise demonstrated how fun and exciting dressage can be for young people.
-most importantly, each of us practiced the skills of showing ourselves and our horses grace for imperfections and celebrating accomplishments stemming from dedication and hard work.
-we were so grateful to all of our friends, family, and fellow boarders who came out to support us.

I love our group!

The girls are getting used to riding horses after school, sports practice, and dinner! It is actually pretty peaceful. It is a bit of forced bonding time for my little hunter jumper rider and dressage rider.

ISO very safe, beginner friendly, "anybody can ride," small horse or large pony. Looking for a horse that a small kid could ride and it wouldn't put a food wrong. Free lease, part-lease, or under 10k purchase. Must be able to live out on cushy field board. This could be a great opportunity for someone to loan their horse to us and still get to ride at a wonderful facility with an indoor located near Kennett Square, PA.
would be a family horse for my niece and another boarder's daughter to learn on and love.
would be an extra horse for a small teen and/or adult who is still learning to ride and interested in becoming more serious.
would not be a traditional, "lesson horse"
must come with references and/or be available for trial.
