They’ve just started coming on, so if the arrangement you’re looking for says “unavailable” it means I’m waiting until there’s more to harvest to add inventory to the webshop.

A bud vase with a few stems at the kitchen sink makes me just as happy as a big arrangement. 🌷

Tulip season was extra fast and furious this year, but, wow, was it beautiful!

I don’t know what variety this is because it was a substitution for the variety I ordered and it doesn’t really look like the sub. Doesn’t matter though. 😍

Can you see in the third pic how the backs almost turn blue at the stem? Flowers are crazy amazing.

AND all of this came out of a bulb that looks like a giant hazelnut that had to be buried in the ground for the winter. You guys 🤯

Carosello Pasta is a small pastifico and food market in Dexter, Michigan, just outside of Ann Arbor — about an hour drive for those of us in the metro Detroit area.

Kicking off locally-grown flower season and officially welcome spring with the first tulip deliveries! 🌷

Things to know about locally-grown tulips:

• I deliver them on the closed side so you can watch them open in your home and enjoy them for a little longer.

• Vase arrangements come with flower food in the water to maximize the life of the flowers and help to keep the water clean. Locally-grown stems do continue to hydrate themselves, so as long as the water looks clear you could just top it off with tap water when you give the bottom of the stems a fresh trim so they can continue to drink.

• Tulip stems elongate even after cutting, so don’t hesitate to give them a good cut when you give the stems a trim and freshen the water.

Mostly, enjoy! We have waited all winter for this. 🥰

My spring drop is live in my webshop 🦋🌷✨

My hope has always been that we all find little (and big) ways to reconnect with the rhythms of Mother Nature. I know that so many of you feel the same way. 🙏

I hope this collection of work sparks joy for you, too, whether you can relate to watching a butterfly enjoying a native host plant, enjoy cutting a stem or two for a bud vase next to the kitchen sink, or just want to sit with a mug of something warm for a minute in the sun.

I’ll be shipping out orders first thing next week, so if you’re doing any shopping for Mother’s Day it should arrive in time.

So so grateful that I can enjoy a cup of coffee in this garden before the day takes off. ☕️✨

I made this mug for myself last year and love it so much that I made a few more to send into the world. I hope that when you fill it with a warm beverage and sit in your favorite spot that you feel a moment of peace & quiet, too. 🙏

I’m so excited to share that some of my pieces will be available at starting next week. You may know Chelsea from her work as growing beautiful native plant starts and vegetables. Tulip ‘Icoon’ wins the award for first to bloom this season. This color is so rich and so stunning! 🌷

I’m trying to step up my game with some new backdrops, and this one is kinda taking me back to middle school pictures. Here for it!

With the warmer temps on the way I hope to have enough stems and more colors to start delivering tulips sometime next week. 🤞

The flower seed swap is open! 🌼💛

Send me 20 packets of seeds, and I’ll send you back 20 different packets from gardeners and flower growers from across the country. It’s the flower boost we all need and a fun way to make some new flower friends.

We need 20 participants (US only) to run the swap. All the details and deadlines are in my webshop listing.

I will send out an email to the group with my address to submit your seeds as soon as the swap is full.

The first bisque firing of the year has some pieces for glaze testing and some for my first webshop restock of the year — hopefully just before Love is Love Day.

(I don’t tumble stack my greenware because I don’t want to. 🤷🏻‍♀️🫶)
