We are incredibly grateful to share that a generous supporter has stepped forward and paid the $25 rabies vaccination fee for our sweet Dalmatian mix puppy!

This means that her rabies vaccination is already covered. The only requirement for adoption will be making an appointment to have her spayed.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to this kind individual for helping give this deserving girl a better chance at finding her forever home. Acts of kindness like this make a huge difference for the animals in our care.

🐾💕 Look at this adorable little girl! 💕🐾

Despite being left in a box like she was unwanted, this sweet puppy hasn’t let her rough start dim her spirit. She is full of love, curiosity, and puppy happiness!

She absolutely loves belly rubs, playing, and soaking up attention from everyone she meets. We believe she is approximately 6–8 weeks old. Her paws are on the smaller side, so we expect she will likely stay a smaller-sized dog when fully grown.

🐾💕 LOOKING FOR HER FUR-EVER HOME 💕🐾

This sweet female Dalmatian mix is approximately 8 months to 1 year old and will be available for adoption tomorrow.

She and her brother were found in the woods behind the Desloge Dog Park in very rough condition. Both pups were covered in ticks, extremely hungry, and clearly had a difficult start in life. Thankfully, they were rescued and have both been examined by a veterinarian.

Her brother appears to have a neurological condition and will be going to a special home that can provide the care he needs. Now it’s this beautiful girl’s turn to find a loving family of her own.

When she first arrived, she was scared and unsure of the world around her. Day by day, she has started to come out of her shell and show us her adorable underbite smile. While she is still a little reserved, she is making progress and learning that people can be kind.

She needs a patient and understanding adopter who will give her the time, love, and reassurance she deserves. With a little patience, we believe she will blossom into an amazing companion.

This sweet little girl was found abandoned in a box at Rhodes Gas Station in Desloge this morning. No puppy deserves to be left behind like this, but thankfully she is now safe and receiving care at the Desloge Pound.

🐾 DO YOU KNOW US? 🐾

These two Dalmatian mix puppies, one male and one female, are approximately 8 months old and were picked up in the woods behind the Desloge Dog Park on Thursday, May 28.

When they were found, both puppies were extremely skinny and covered in ticks. The male also appears to have some type of neurological issue. Both puppies have since been seen by a veterinarian and have been checked over.

We are hoping to find their owner. If you recognize these pups or know where they belong, please contact Animal Control as soon as possible.

If they are not claimed, they will be available for adoption on Tuesday, June 2.
