🐾 TWO BOYS LOOKING FOR A FRESH START 🐾

These two male dogs were sadly dropped off and left at St. Francois State Park. 💔 Thankfully, there was a witness, and the person responsible was located. Both dogs have now been surrendered.

The brown boy is a Pit Bull, and the other appears to be a Mastiff mix.

We don’t know much about their personalities or history yet but, we do know they are food aggressive. Right now, they’re understandably very scared and confused, but both seem friendly. ❤️ As they settle in and we get to know them, I’ll update everyone with more information.

Available for adoption: September 6, 2026
🚨 Must be out by September 16, 2026

These boys didn’t choose to be abandoned, and now they deserve the chance to find families who won’t leave them behind.

Our sweet Dolly has officially been ADOPTED, and I couldn’t be happier for this girl! 🥹

Not only did she find herself a wonderful new home, but she’s also going home with a new brother who is a Blue Heeler too! 💙🐶🐶 I’d say this little girl hit the jackpot!

Dolly has such a big personality and absolutely LOVES her people, so seeing her leave today knowing she has a family of her own — and a Heeler brother to share her adventures with — makes my heart so happy.

Thank you to her new family for choosing Dolly and giving her the forever home she deserves. ❤️

❤️🐾 THE GOODBYES WE LOVE TO SEE 🐾❤️

Roscoe has officially been ADOPTED!

Just a few days ago, we were begging for someone to give this sweet boy a chance. Today, I got to watch him walk out the door knowing he’ll never have to wonder where he belongs again.

These are the moments that make all the worry, sharing, pleading, and sleepless nights worth it. Roscoe’s story didn’t end at the pound, it’s just beginning. ❤️

🚨🔴 CODE RED — BEAR & ROSCOE NEED YOU 🔴🚨

This is the post we hate having to make. 💔

Bear and Roscoe have to be out by FRIDAY. Time is running out for these two sweet boys, and we desperately need someone to step up and give them a chance.

These boys came in together, and both are still young — no older than about 2 years old. They are BOTH already NEUTERED, which means their adopter will only be responsible for the $25 fee for their rabies vaccination.

*** Adopted! 🤎 Bear is our more laid-back boy. He is reserved, gentle, super friendly, and loves to play. We believe he is a Cur mix.

*** Adopted! ❤️ Roscoe, our red heeler mix, is the goofy, vocal one with plenty of personality. He loves to play, loves attention, and might even help you dig a few holes in the backyard. 😂 We believe he is a heeler mix.

Both boys have done great with other dogs, people, and children. They have also been around cats and have shown curiosity toward them. We believe their approximately one years old. 

They aren’t bad dogs. They haven’t done anything wrong. They’re just two young boys sitting here waiting and hoping someone chooses them before their time runs out. 💔

FRIDAY IS THEIR DEADLINE.

🐾 Meet Dolly! 🐾

Dolly will officially be available for adoption tomorrow! 💙

She is first come first serve, I can’t promise her to anybody. City Hall opens at 8am.

She is a beautiful Blue Heeler weighing around 28 lbs and approximately one years. This girl absolutely LOVES people. If you’re nearby, she wants your attention and preferably both hands petting her at all times. She is incredibly affectionate and just soaks up every bit of love she can get.

Dolly can be a little temperamental around other dogs, especially when attention is involved. She seems to get a little jealous and may show some teeth as if to say, “Excuse me… those pets belong to ME.” 😂 Because of this, a meet-and-greet with any dogs already in the home would be a good idea.

She’s sweet, she’s sassy, she’s a little bossy, and she definitely has that classic Heeler personality. ❤️

🚨 DOLLY’S DEADLINE: September 8th🚨

Dolly needs an adopter or rescue commitment by her deadline. Please don’t wait until the last minute if you’re interested in giving this sweet girl a home.

🏡 ADOPTION INFORMATION

Adoptions are completed through Desloge City Hall. Dolly must be checked out and the adoption paperwork completed at City Hall before I can schedule her veterinary appointment.

I will schedule and transport Dolly to the vet. The adopter will meet us there and is responsible for all required veterinary expenses, paid directly to the veterinarian. A rabies vaccination is required, and if Dolly is not already spayed, spaying will also be required.

If you’re looking for a girl who will happily be your shadow and soak up every ounce of attention you’re willing to give, come meet Dolly!
