Meet Mila! 🐾💕

Before every groom, we like to slow things down and let dogs settle in first. Grooming can be stressful, especially for nervous pups, so Mila came for daycare before her appointment to spend time with us, build trust, and get comfortable in our environment.

At Dog Daze Inn, grooming isn't just about the haircut—it's about creating a positive experience where each dog feels safe, understood, and cared for. Taking a little extra time upfront helps make future grooming appointments much less stressful and much more enjoyable. 💛

Luna celebrated her 4th birthday at Dog Daze Inn today, and Chapo joined in on the fun! 🎉🐾

With temperatures soaring, we kept things safe by rotating between shady outdoor adventures and plenty of air-conditioned breaks. The dogs still had an absolute blast exploring, sniffing, playing, and just being dogs.

One thing I wish more people could see is how different the experience is here. Every dog's day is thoughtfully planned around their needs, energy level, personality, and the weather. It's never just about supervision—it's about making sure each dog has the best day possible.
I've also been trying to teach some of these working dogs proper herding skills... but Luna seems to think the goal is to jump on top of the herding ball and conquer it. 🤦‍♂️😂 I'm not sure any cattle would appreciate her management style.

If there’s an adventure to be had, Pip is all in. 🐾

From exploring every corner of the yard, enjoying leisurely walks, following his nose on important sniffing missions, and enthusiastically rolling in whatever caught his interest that day, Pip made the most of his stay with us. 😂❤️

After a busy day of fun, he conquered a mountain of pillows to claim the perfect lookout spot—where he could keep an eye on me working in the kitchen and make sure I wasn't up to anything too exciting without him. 👀🥰

At Dog Daze Inn, boarding is more than just a place to stay. Dogs become part of our daily routine, enjoying personalized care, enrichment, freedom to explore, and plenty of one-on-one attention. We intentionally keep things small and relationship-focused so every guest feels comfortable, engaged, and at home.
There are plenty of places that kennel dogs. There’s only one Dog Daze Inn. ❤️🐾

Blue and Bandit wrapped up a great boarding stay with us! 🐾

Their days were filled with structured walks, confidence-building activities, agility fun in the backyard, relaxation time in the living room, and enrichment with lick mats.

Bandit spent time practicing confidence in new situations, while Blue worked on making thoughtful choices and staying focused. Both dogs made wonderful progress and settled in beautifully.

Boarding doesn't have to mean spending the day in a kennel surrounded by constant noise and chaos. We believe dogs thrive when they get a balance of structure, enrichment, rest, and real-life experiences in a home-like environment.

We're proud of these two and loved having them as part of the family during their stay. ❤️

🎾 Luna is thriving in our Elevated Dog Development Program! 🐾

Fetch isn't just fun—it's a great way to build confidence, practice engagement, burn energy, and strengthen the bond between dog and handler. Luna has been working hard, and it's been so rewarding watching her learn, grow, and have a blast while doing it.

Every dog in our Elevated Dog Development Program gets individualized activities designed around their needs, goals, and personality. For Luna, a game of fetch is the perfect mix of exercise, enrichment, and learning.

Not every grooming win happens in a single appointment.

Cleo was terrified of nail trims and would panic if she felt pressured. Rather than forcing the issue, we focused on building trust, creating positive associations, and moving at her pace.

Four sessions later, we were able to successfully clip all of her front nails. 🎉

These moments may not look dramatic, but they're some of the biggest victories in grooming. Watching a fearful dog learn that they are safe is why I do what I do.

At Dog Daze Inn, every dog is treated as an individual, and we adjust our approach to fit their needs. ❤️🐾

Taco spent the weekend at Dog Daze Inn and got freshened up with a groom during his stay. After all that standing still and looking handsome, he was ready to blow off some steam!
Dutchess was the perfect playmate. These two have such similar play styles and energy levels, making for a fun, balanced play session full of zoomies, wrestling, and happy dog smiles. 🐾❤️
This is exactly why we love taking the time to match dogs with compatible friends while they're here.

Chapo stayed with us for his very first boarding visit, and he absolutely crushed it! 👏🐾

We had the opportunity to work with Chapo during training, but the real credit goes to his mom for continuing the work at home and staying consistent. The result is a well-rounded, confident, and polite dog who knows how to settle, enjoy playtime, and relax in his kennel.

One of the best parts of our job is seeing dogs transition from training into successful boarding stays. Chapo walked in like he knew exactly what to do, enjoyed his walks, had some fun play sessions, and settled in beautifully.

We are so proud of this handsome English Bulldog and the teamwork that helped him succeed. ❤️

Last week was a busy one and I’m behind on posting, so we’re starting at the beginning with Auggie & Reggie 🐾
These two boarded with us a few weeks ago and came back for their grooming appointments! They spent the whole day here while we took things slow — lots of breaks, play time, treats, and making sure they stayed comfortable and relaxed throughout the process. ✂️🛁
We love being able to build relationships with dogs beyond just one visit and create an environment where they can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. ❤️
