Chapo stayed with us for his very first boarding visit, and he absolutely crushed it! 👏🐾

We had the opportunity to work with Chapo during training, but the real credit goes to his mom for continuing the work at home and staying consistent. The result is a well-rounded, confident, and polite dog who knows how to settle, enjoy playtime, and relax in his kennel.

One of the best parts of our job is seeing dogs transition from training into successful boarding stays. Chapo walked in like he knew exactly what to do, enjoyed his walks, had some fun play sessions, and settled in beautifully.

We are so proud of this handsome English Bulldog and the teamwork that helped him succeed. ❤️

Coco is the new little brother, and Wrigley was already showing him the ropes ❤️ And can we appreciate Coco sitting there with his little paws crossed so politely? 😂 These two were such a fun pair to spend the day with at Dog Daze Inn!

Last week was a busy one and I’m behind on posting, so we’re starting at the beginning with Auggie & Reggie 🐾
These two boarded with us a few weeks ago and came back for their grooming appointments! They spent the whole day here while we took things slow — lots of breaks, play time, treats, and making sure they stayed comfortable and relaxed throughout the process. ✂️🛁
We love being able to build relationships with dogs beyond just one visit and create an environment where they can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. ❤️

When people ask what we do at Dog Daze Inn, the answer is bigger than just boarding, grooming, training, or daycare. 🐾

Every dog and every family has different needs, and we build individualized plans to help both the dogs and their humans succeed. One pup may come to daycare and get weekly brushing to stay comfortable and mat-free. Another may come to work through nervousness and dog reactivity, building confidence and preparing for stress-free boarding while helping their owner live a more relaxed life too. Some dogs come simply to learn that grooming doesn’t have to be scary.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all dog care. We believe in meeting dogs where they’re at and helping owners find real-life solutions that actually work.

So if you’ve ever felt like nobody would understand your dog or help with your struggles, think again. We’re here to work with you and create a plan that fits your dog’s needs. ❤️🐶

Despite the wind trying to blow us away yesterday 🌬️😂, we had an awesome time at the event at Captain Roy’s!

We got to meet and chat with so many great people, see some familiar faces, and even meet a few dogs along the way 🐾

Chandler and Dutchess got some great training in working around crowds, staying calm, and greeting people politely. Although… based on how many people asked if they were up for adoption, they may have been a little too friendly yesterday 😅 Sorry everyone, they already have a home!

Now look at him — hanging out in the backyard with a group of dogs, relaxed, confident, and even giving us a smile 😄

This is why we love Elevated Dog Development. It’s not just about daycare — it’s about helping dogs build confidence, learn how to exist calmly around other dogs, and feel safe being themselves. Sammy has worked so hard, and we’re so proud of how far he’s come. 🐾

2.5 hours of bath, blowout, and brushing later… and she was officially DONE 😅
We tried to get a cute after photo, but she was very clear that the session had gone on long enough and she was not interested in modeling anymore. Sometimes the “after” is just a dog politely telling you they gave you all she had 😂
She wasn’t an easy one for previous groomers, so we took it slow, worked in breaks, and let her set the pace. Lots of consent-based handling, lots of patience—and honestly, she surprised me. When I asked for her paw for nails… she just gave it to me like, “fine, let’s get this over with.” 🐾
Still, she came out clean, blown out, and feeling so much better—even if she was officially over the paparazzi by the end.

A couple busy weeks, a whole lot of happy faces 🐾💙

We’ve been running nonstop over here at Dog Daze Inn, and we just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who trusts us with their pups. Whether they come for daycare, training, boarding, grooming, or just to hang out and learn — we love every single one of them like our own.

Watching these dogs grow in confidence, make friends, learn new skills, and genuinely enjoy being here is the best part of what we do.

We truly couldn’t do it without all of you believing in us and supporting our small business.

Our hearts (and yards 😂) are FULL. Thank you for keeping us busy with the best dogs around 🐶✨

Athena’s first day at Dog Daze Inn 🐾
What makes this moment so special isn’t just that these dogs are sitting calmly together… it’s the journey it took to get here.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been working closely with Suki and Sammy on confidence building, emotional regulation, reactivity, separation anxiety, and learning how to peacefully exist around other dogs in a structured environment. One of these pups was recently rescued from a shelter and is still learning that the world can be safe.

Most traditional daycares would label dogs like this as “too much,” overstimulate them in a large chaotic group, or simply turn them away altogether. At Dog Daze Inn, we believe dogs deserve guidance — not just management.

Every dog here is taught how to slow down, make good choices, coexist calmly, and build real social skills. We don’t just throw dogs into a room together and hope for the best. We create structure, advocate for the dogs, and carefully build successful interactions step by step.

That means your dog is surrounded by dogs who are also learning manners, boundaries, neutrality, and calm behavior — because that’s the way daycare SHOULD be.

This isn’t just daycare.

This is structured socialization, relationship building, confidence development, and real-life training woven into everyday experiences.
