Here at Silver Bullitt Aussies, temperaments and health are at the top of our list, we work very hard to ensure good, positive, sound temperaments in all our adults, and our puppies. All of our dogs are part of our family, all with a unique personality all of their own. Our dogs are not kennel dogs, our puppies are born in our home and begin getting handled daily from day one. I have 5 children wh

o help a great deal in socializing our little wiggle butts daily. We show our dogs in AKC Obedience, as well as do therapy work. We have both show and herding lines, working hard to keep both the beauty as well as the smarts of this amazing breed. They are "pleaser dogs", they aren't happy unless they are making you happy. They are also "Velcro dogs" there will not be a second where you don't feel as though you have two shadows! They love their owners, and have a very strong bond for them, because of this strong bond, it is very important to do your research, as well as talk to other Aussie owners and Breeders, make sure this breed is right for you and your family before taking on this life long commitment. We are located in Des Moines Iowa. We do our very best to work with you and our puppies, and help choose a puppy that we feel will best suit your family and your lifestyle. Dottie and Smalls 💕

It's been too long since I've posted, and for that I apologize....this summer has started off by throwing several curve balls, including one of my kids having their appendix removed last week. For everyone who has been boarding/training with us during this time, thank you for being so very patient and flexible with me.
For those who are awaiting responses to phone calls and messages, I am trying to get to everyone as quickly as possible, but please don't be afraid to send "reminder" messages to me!
I love and appreciate each and every one of you!❤️

This is Dottie and Small's first time with us, and it has been an amazing experience for them, and a very rewarding experience for me!
Dottie struggles with insecurity, and Smalls struggles with reactivity.
During their stay, I've watched them both gain so much confidence.
Dottie is so much more comfortable, and Smalls is no longer feeling the need to defend himself against every dog/person that walks into my facility.
This is what makes my job so rewarding.... even during the tougher days, this is what keeps me going. So thank you...each and every one of you ❤️

The time has finally come for me to officially introduce you all to Relic. ❤️
Many of you know Thor and know just how much he means to me. He is my heart dog in every sense of the word. While Thor will be turning 9 years old soon and is still in excellent health, I'd be lying if I said I haven't spent a lot of time thinking about what life will look like one day without him by my side.
I've owned many Australian Shepherds throughout my life, but Thor has left footprints that will be nearly impossible to fill.
This was Thor's final litter, and my last opportunity to keep a piece of my incredible boy.
Relic will be 8 weeks old on Sunday, and from the moment he was born, there was something special about him. He's the biggest puppy in the litter, and the resemblance to his dad is absolutely unreal. The more he grows, the more I see Thor in him.
His name, Relic, means something treasured from the past—a piece of history worth holding onto. It couldn't be more fitting.
Thor's AKC registered name is Silverbullitt's Marvel Production.
Relic's AKC registered name is Silverbullitt's Sequel To A Marvel.
A sequel to something truly extraordinary.
Relic has some very big shoes to fill, but I already know he's going to do an amazing job carrying on his father's legacy. More than anything, I hope Thor and Relic have many wonderful years together ahead of them. But when the day eventually comes that Thor's journey with me reaches its end, I take comfort in knowing that a little piece of him will still be here.
And somehow, that makes my heart feel a little fuller. ❤️
Welcome to the family, Relic. I can't wait to see the story we write together.

Hey dog owner friends! 🐾
Shawn built this absolutely stunning custom dog kennel for one of the kids' dogs, and I just had to show it off! 😍
Not only is it beautiful, but it's also incredibly functional, featuring a convenient slow-closing drawer to store all of your dog's essentials. This kennel is HUGE and can comfortably accommodate a large breed dog while doubling as a gorgeous piece of furniture in your home.
Unfortunately, after all of the hard work and love that went into building it, we discovered it's just a little too big to fit up our stairs. 😭😂
So our disappointment can become someone else's lucky find!
The price is an absolute steal for the quality and craftsmanship. I watched this man spend weeks carefully building every detail, making sure everything was done right. The amount of time, effort, and pride he puts into his work is truly impressive. ❤️

This sweet girl wasn't very interested in playtime this afternoon, and that's okay!

Instead of chasing toys, Coco chose something much more her style—snuggling up and spending the evening with our family while we watched Harry Potter together. 🥰

One of my favorite things about having dogs in our boarding program is being able to give them the individual attention they need. Some dogs thrive on games and adventure, while others simply want to relax, soak up the love, and enjoy being part of the family.
Tonight was all about cozy cuddles, quiet companionship, and a little Harry Potter magic. ❤️

💕 We Have Been Keeping a Secret... 💕
As many of you know, Thor is my heart dog. ❤️
With Thor turning 9 years old soon, I've found myself thinking more and more about what life will look like someday when it's time to say goodbye to my best friend. While that day isn't here yet, it has made me reflect on just how much this incredible dog has meant to me, my family, and my journey as a trainer.
When the opportunity came along to have one final litter out of Thor, I knew it was something I couldn't pass up.
I am beyond grateful to announce that I will be keeping a son out of this litter to carry on a small piece of Thor's legacy. 🥹❤️ (You'll get to meet him soon—he's not featured in this video!)
For me, this litter is so much more than puppies. It's a chance to hold onto the memories, lessons, and love that Thor has given me over the years. Anyone who knows him knows just how special he truly is.
And the best part? We have a few adorable wiggle butts that will be looking for their forever homes! 🏡💕
In addition, I will be holding back one, possibly two puppies to raise and train myself before placement. These puppies will be available at approximately 20 weeks of age and will receive a tremendous head start in life, including:
🐾 Crate training
🐾 Foundation house training
🐾 Basic obedience commands
🐾 Loose leash walking
🐾 In-home manners
🐾 Public exposure and training
🐾 Confidence building and engagement work
🐾 Ongoing guidance and private lessons with me to help you and your puppy succeed together

I could not have asked for a better shopping helper! He turns heads everywhere he goes! He got so many compliments on how much of a gentleman he is today!

Isn’t this boy absolutely beautiful?! 😍
It’s not very often that I get the opportunity to work with a Collie, and Ody has been such a joy to have here with me!
Ody is spending two weeks with me working on leash manners, basic commands, building confidence, and learning better coping skills while we work through some reactivity challenges ❤️
This boy has been working so hard, and I am beyond proud of the progress he’s already made this week. Watching him start to settle in, process the world more calmly, and build trust and confidence has been so rewarding.
He is incredibly smart, sweet, and eager to learn, and I have truly loved every minute of working with him so far 💕
