Hello friends! The most difficult stall chart in our short tenure as the trio at the helm of this wonderful springtime tradition has been completed. We will do everything in our power to make this slightly odd year be as easy as possible to navigate! Thank you all for your trust. We don’t take that trust lightly.

Here is a map to study for next week. Overflow stabling will be in Cattle Barn and Sheep Barn. “Livestock Pavilion” is the old coliseum workspace. For super newbies, “Exhibition Center” is our show ring.

Help us double our yearly donations to Blank Children's Hospital at Des Moines Springfest! It is looking like we have double the amount of stalls sold this year, which means nearly double the horses, and double the fun!

We are hoping to also double our usual donations and donate as many items as horses that attend, or more!

Please bring new pajamas in sizes from premie to adult, or new board and children’s books, to the show office to donate to the children at Blank Children's Hospital!

Calling all Junior Exhibitors! There will be an ASHBA Junior Judging Competition during the Des Moines Springfest Saturday evening session, April 26th, starting at 6:00. Giveaways for all participants and prizes for highpoint winners! Join the fun!

And as far as stabling goes, we will try to give everybody a choice between two options. Once we have all of our information gathered, we will be able to give the pros and cons of each stabling location and help you make the best decision for your team!

Hey DSMF friends! With the ongoing horse barn construction at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, we are working diligently to deliver the caliber of horse show you all have come to expect from our team. The north side of the horse barn is definitely shut down, eliminating all the stabling in that third of the barns. The first overflow will go to the Cattle barn, directly across from the old coliseum. The second overflow spot will be the Sheep barn, directly south of the main horse barn.
We are continuing to work with the State Fair staff to help our horse traffic flow during the show. When we have more firm information, we will pass it along.
As always, we are going to fight like heck to make sure you ALL are taken care of to the best of our ability!
