🐶 Our next round of Obedience and Rally classes starts next week (4/13 and 4/14 - dmotc.com) - plus 6 weeks of drop in Conformation class at 7:15PM on Tuesdays!

For Conformation, class is $10 per night - no pre-registration required! If you haven’t taken a class with us (or dropped in) yet in 2026, remember to bring 2 docs - rabies cert and vaccination record.

🎉 Congratulations to club member Ginny and partner Cougar on their AKC Tracking Dog title 🎉

A dog earns a TD by following a track 440 to 500 yards long with three to five changes of direction. The track is laid by a human tracklayer and is “aged” 30 minutes to two hours before the dog begins scenting. The goal is to use the scented track to locate an article left at the end of the trail by the tracklayer. The owner follows the dog on a long leash and can encourage the dog during the tracking
test.

💨 Tracking is an all weather sport and requires dedication from the handler to get their dog out for practice regularly in different types of terrain 🌧️

Congratulations to Club member Patti Petersen-Keys who is taking 2 dogs to the Finals Round of the AKC National Agility Championship!!!!

Row’n at 24” won his Challengers Round to go to Finals!

Quest at 16” Preferred had already won his place in the Finals! **Update: Patti and Quest won 4th place in 16” Preferred!**

Our next round of Competition classes starts this Thursday, March 19th! This session concludes on Thursday, April 30th.
