🎲 ROLL THE DICE? THERE'S NOTHING TO GAMBLE ON HERE. THIS BOY IS A JACKPOT. 🎲

Meet Dice — 5 years old, a perfect 50 pounds of husky love, and the kind of dog that makes you wonder how Vegas hasn't recruited him as a mascot yet.

🐾 THE FACE SITUATION Let's start with those tan eyebrows. They had you at hello and they know it. Perfectly placed above crystal blue eyes that are doing things to people's hearts that should probably require a permit. The eyebrows frame the blue. The blue makes the eyebrows pop. It's a feedback loop of gorgeous and the man is FULLY aware of the effect.

🐾 THE TAIL SITUATION We need to discuss what's happening at the back end, because it deserves its own paragraph. Picture a gray pompadour mop — lush, dramatic, unapologetically extra — mounted on his backside and pointed straight at the sky like an exclamation point. Striking from the front. Striking from the back. This dog understood the assignment from EVERY angle.

🐾 THE PERSONALITY REPORT Volunteers don't mince words about this one: "The sweetest ever." "Loves being pet in the kennel." "Loves being pet out of the kennel." Basically, loves being pet. Full stop. Anytime, anywhere, by anyone. Dice is the kind of dog who has never met a stranger and never plans to. Friendly? Understatement. This boy is a PROFESSIONAL greeter.

🐾 PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
✅ Easy to leash
✅ Easy to walk
✅ Sits pretty for treats like the gentleman he is
✅ Soft, furry coat that he'd probably like to unzip right about now (summer husky life)
✅ 50 pounds of pure, concentrated affection
✅ Zero drama. All love.

🐾 THE REFINED PALATE Dice would like you to know he does NOT do milk bones. Dry? Tasteless? He's not mad, he's just disappointed. This is a dog with STANDARDS. He'll sit pretty for a quality treat, but if his favorite orange squeaky stuffy is nearby, all bets are off. That stuffy is his ride-or-die.

🐾 THE SURE BET Here's the thing about Dice — there IS no gamble. Crystal blue eyes. Showstopper tail. A personality that every single person who meets him describes with some version of "the sweetest." Easy on the leash. Easy in the kennel. Easy everywhere. He's 5 years old, which means the chewing-your-shoes era is long gone but the fun-loving era is very much NOW.

The only roll of the dice is whether you get here before someone else does.

Cecilia is two years old and has been in foster care for the past three months. During her first month, she was understandably nervous—new surroundings, new people, and a whole new routine were a lot for her to take in. After all, shelter life had been stressful for her. She was scared, overwhelmed, and barely eating. She was always on the lookout for a new hiding spot where she could retreat from all the activity around her.

These days, though, Cecilia has come a long way! She's traded her hiding spots for cozy hangouts in the living room and enjoys spending time near her people. While she's still a gentle, reserved girl, she's still learning that home can be a safe and comfortable place.

Cecilia is the kind of cat who thrives with patience and understanding. Let her move at her own pace, and she'll show you just how rewarding it can be to earn her trust. ❤

🐾 YOU'VE BEEN SAVING THE GOOD CHAMPAGNE. SHE JUST ARRIVED.

Name: Champagne

Age: 4 years young

Weight: 82 lbs of living artwork

Vibe: A bottle of the good stuff — worth every second of the slow pour

THE COAT SITUATION: We need to talk about what's happening on this dog because it's unreasonable. Champagne's brindle isn't just brindle — it's a topographical map of someplace beautiful. Dense charcoal forests. Golden wheat fields. Wide-open clearings catching the sun. All of it woven together on a soft coat so carefully composed it looks curated. She's 82 pounds of walking gallery exhibit, and honestly, she should be charging admission.

THE LEAN: Here's the thing about Champagne. She takes a moment. She considers. She lets the space between you close at a pace that feels right. And then — when she decides the moment is worth it — she leans. Gently, deliberately, right into your hand. Offer her ears a slow massage and she tilts into it like she's been waiting for exactly this. Her whole energy says: being close to you feels too good to stop. You're not just petting a dog. You're being chosen by one.

AT FOUR: She has an entire life of discoveries ahead. First toy she realizes is actually fun. First time she figures out rolling on her back and being silly is completely allowed. First yard. First couch that's hers. Four years old is just the opening chapter, and everything that comes next gets to be good.

WHAT YOU'RE REALLY GETTING: 82 pounds of warmth in the most extraordinary packaging you've ever seen. A companion who doesn't rush the relationship — she lets it build, moment by moment, lean by lean, until you realize this is the deepest kind of connection. The kind that lasts.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CHAMPAGNE: Some dogs pop the cork the second you walk in. Champagne lets the moment build. And when it arrives — that first lean, those ears surrendered to your hands, that quiet exhale of a dog deciding you're her person — it's worth celebrating.

She's been waiting for a reason to.

Every good celebration starts with opening the right bottle. Champagne is ready.

Wilson's Happy Tail 🏡✨

Wilson, formerly known as Oliver, arrived at MCASAC at the end of February and quickly found his forever home in early March. His adopters recently shared an update with us:

"My husband and I adopted Oliver at the beginning of March. We've changed his name to Wilson, and he is loving every second of life with us! Wilson loves going on walks, visiting our friends, and spending time with his dad at the firehouse. Here are some pictures of him living his best life!"

We love seeing our former shelter pets thriving in their new homes, and it's clear that Wilson has settled right into the good life. ❤️

THIS DOG ACED EVERY QUESTION ON HIS REPORT CARD. SO WHY IS HE STILL HERE?

Name: Guapo (it means "handsome" in Spanish — the name checks out)

Age: 6 years of proven loyalty

Weight: 65 lbs of perfectly proportioned love bug At MCASAC since: March (3 months and counting)

Vibe: The friend who's always happy to see you and never once plays it cool

🐾 THE FILE When a dog gets surrendered, there's a form. It asks the family everything — how the dog handles strangers, other dogs, children, food, daily life. Guapo's reads like a letter of recommendation.

How is he when meeting someone for the first time? Friendly. How does he behave around other dogs? Excited. How does he act around children? Friendly. What does he do when you walk near his food? Nothing. Housetrained? Yes.

His family's own words: "Guapo is extremely friendly and we love him."

So you keep reading. And reading. Waiting for the thing. The catch. The reason someone walks a dog they love into a shelter and walks out without him.

🐾 THE CATCH He chewed on things.

That's it. That's the reason.

But the form asks follow-up questions. Like how many hours a day was Guapo left alone? Up to ten. And what training was done to address the chewing? None.

While Guapo is a social, people-loving, treat-motivated dog — the kind built to do anything to make you happy — he may need a little more training to help show him what "right" looks like.

🐾 THE DOG THEY LEFT BEHIND Here's what three months at MCASAC have proven about Guapo: he is exactly the dog his family described. Friendly. Loving. Eager to please.

The staff and volunteers who've spent real time with him have watched this dog shine. He's easy to harness. Easy to walk. Gets so excited to see his favorite humans that his whole body celebrates, not just the tail. He plays with joy. He takes treats like a gentleman. And when the energy settles, he leans in for a cuddle like someone who's spent six years practicing how to love people.

Because he has.

Sixty-five pounds of beautiful blue coat and soulful eyes that have been patiently watching and waiting for three months. Still friendly. Still excited. Still absolutely sure that the right person is coming.

🐾 THE REAL ASK Guapo doesn't need a perfect home. He needs a present one. Someone who comes back at the end of the day. Someone who tosses a ball. Someone who takes five minutes to show him what's a chew toy and what's not — because a treat-motivated people-pleaser with soulful eyes and six years of love to give? That's the easiest student you'll ever have. Everything else? He's already got it covered.

His name means handsome. But the first thing you'll notice is the heart.

Meet Tigger! 🐯

He's a sweet, kind, and incredibly patient cat who has known a lot of transitions, and our promise to him is that his next move will be his final one. He deserves unwavering stability, a patient heart, and a true forever home.

Though Tigger has free reign of the entire house, he has chosen the living room as his personal hub. He's a shy, cautious boy who likes to observe the world from a safe distance before participating. He currently prefers sleeping under the sofa, where he feels secure, but enjoys watching the household goings-on from his comfortable spots. Tigger also has a wonderful obsession with soft blankets—they're his favorite thing in the world and bring him comfort.

When meeting strangers, his default setting is to hide or avoid, and he needs a home that lets him come around on his own time. His perfect match would be a calm household with people who understand that love doesn't always mean constant physical affection—sometimes it just means sitting quietly together in the same room side-by-side.

Tigger deserves a permanent home and we're committed to finding him the family he's always deserved.
