Follow Your Dreams Farm LLC Welcome to Follow your Dream Farm LLC, we are a family orientated equestrian centered dedicated to teaching and training with natural horsemanship techniques.

We offer lessons in the following disciplines, hunt seat, dressage, western and English pleasure, gymkhana, barrel racing, team roping and competitive trail. We also offer a wide variety of services including boarding, breeding, training, lessons, conditioning, on or off location clinics and seminars, sales and transportation. We design and tailor each lesson and training program to suit our clients needs and goals.

19-year-old Rocky Mountain Trail and show horse

Registered with papers.

15 hands, Trained in English and Western Pleasure

No medical health problems, can be ridden alone or in group, needs competent rider with quiet hands, Beau is voice trained, gaited and responsive with impeccable ground manners. He also canters and gallops, runs the barrels and trots the fence. He is a great all-round boy with a calm nature.

Beau is a medium-sized horse, black, with a distinctive physical appearance, with a compact, muscular build with a refined head.

History of Rocky Mountain Horses

The Rocky Mountain Horse was first developed in the late 19th century in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky. The breed was originally used as a workhorse, and was prized for its ability to work on rough terrain and its easy-going personality. Over time, the breed was also used for riding, and its distinctive smooth gait was soon recognized as a desirable trait. In the early 1980s, a group of breeders formed the Rocky Mountain Horse Association to preserve and promote the breed. Today, the breed is recognized for its versatility and friendly personality, and is a popular choice for trail riding, endurance riding, and other equestrian activities.

15 hands western trained trail and ranch horse

Can be ridden alone or trail head.

Voice commands no leg, needs quiet hands and is very responsive. Levi has good ground manners and is virtually bomb proof.

Will work with a confident rider in the show arena but has been used with novice riders too. This is a horse you can do anything with and is a lot of fun.

On our longer trail ride today with hills the steps ranged from 435 to 3012 with most being in the mid 2000 range showing us who was moving their arms the most 😉😉 and how tracking data can show inaccurate data!

Our gps app equilab free edition shows 3.1mph was our average speed but I didn’t start tracking from the farm see photo. Strides at about 3042 almost 200 calories burned and only 2.5 miles currently but will try to calculate out the rest of that ride later I want to say closer to 5 mile ride.
We will review hear and feel hear rates for resting and working tomorrow, with showmanship and suitability as our themes tomorrow.

We just had an opening and wanted to offer training board for 30-60 days depending on needs for a die hard equestrian who wants to learn about training and fitness.

Looking to have weekly recaps with owner, prefer in person but can do zoom, have everything tracked and monitored, with written evaluations and progress.

This is a field of interest for her and we would love to help see it through! References can be provided.
