📣 A quick update from Freyas K9 Academy!

We have a new business phone line, and our previous number is no longer in use. This line will be used for daily dog walking and pet care updates.

Phone hours: Monday- Friday, 8 AM- 5PM| Saturday, 8 AM- 1 PM| Sunday : Closed- messages will be returned the following business day.

LILY 🌞

This girl spent winter and spring walking and training with Freya’s. Now she’s living the summer dream.

We are back from vacation and ready to get back to business!

While we enjoyed our time away we truly missed working with the dogs. 🐾💜

With that being said, we are back to our normal schedule tomorrow (Thursday) and will be checking messages!

A reminder about communication and response times:

I work hands-on with live animals. When I am with a client’s dog, my attention is on that dog—not on my phone. I will not answer calls, respond to texts, or acknowledge that I have read a message while I am working with another client’s animal. If you contact me when I’m with your dog, I will answer when safe.

I understand that we live in a world where people expect instant responses, but that is not how I run my business. Having access to my phone does not mean anyone has the right to demand my immediate time or take attention away from the dogs currently in my care.

All messages will be treated the same way I would treat an email and answered when I am available. Please allow up to 24 -48 hours for a response. If you cannot wait that long, I may not be the right trainer for you. And quite honestly I don’t want a client like that.

I am not an emergency service, and I am not on call 24/7. If I teach for six hours, my hands and attention are committed for those six hours. Add several hours of driving between lessons, and calls made at 9 a.m., 4 p.m., or 7 p.m. may still come through while I am actively working.

If you would like me to work with your dog, patience and respect for my time—and for the time of every dog in my care—are required.

And you and your dog will receive the same!
