You probably won’t see Viva La Pet spanning half the county.
We’re not trying to.
We’ve never been interested in growing just for the sake of being bigger. More towns, more clients, more walkers, more profit. None of that means much to us if the quality gets watered down along the way.
We’d rather be really, really good at what we do.
That means keeping our service area intentional. Knowing our clients and their animals. Having a small team of people who are genuinely talented with dogs, not just people who happen to like them. It means experience, judgment, reliability, and knowing that sometimes the most important part of a dog walk has nothing to do with the actual walking.
Quality over quantity has always been the point here.
Which brings me to this:
We’re looking for another dog walker.
And in true Viva La Pet fashion, we’re not looking to hire a bunch of people. We’re looking for one really good one.
This is SUPER part-time to start, just a few midday hours per week, with room to take on more as the right person settles in.
You should genuinely understand dogs. Be observant. Dependable. Comfortable working independently. The kind of person who notices when something is a little “off” without needing someone to point it out.
Professional pet-care experience is great. Natural animal sense is even better. Reliability is non-negotiable.
If you’re looking for a giant roster of hours immediately, this probably isn’t the job.
If you’re looking for a small, established local company that cares a little obsessively about doing this work well, you might be our person.
Send us a message and tell us a little about yourself. And please, skip the formal cover-letter stuff. We’d rather know why dogs, and why this job?
