Did you catch Persephone’s gorgeous appearance at our Gala last weekend?

In case you didn’t, here are some of our favorite Persephone moments!

Persephone is a 3-year-old Boxer mix looking for a home to provide her a safe place to become her best self. Her ideal family does not have children or cats, and gives her the patience she needs to adjust. She loves car rides, and is an incredibly lovable once she trusts you. Families who already have a dog in the home will need to bring their dog to meet her and see if they’d be a good fit, as Persephone can be dog selective.

Interested? Contact the Dog Shelter to learn more about this special girl or visit during business hours.

The Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation Bet Big on Us!

A huge thank you to the Duffield Foundation for awarding us this boost grant through the Big Bet for Pets program. This grant will help to forward our No Kill, nonprofit mission.

Big Bet for Pets is the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation’s five-year, $250 million investment in expanding access to veterinary care for family pets. Through targeted grantmaking, Big Bet for Pets aims to grow and scale the capacity of nonprofit community-based veterinary services; expand veterinary service options in rural communities; and fuel innovative research and programs that break down barriers to access.

This funding will help us continue our mission: Caring for and rehoming vulnerable Colorado animals—even those with the most critical needs. To learn more about the duffieldfoundation, visit their social media page!
