Angels to the Animals

Angels to the Animals area. A team of residents joined together by Mickey Mack, our lead angel who has shown compassion and caring for animals for several years.

Angels to the Animals is a 501(c)3 animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted, abused or neglected animals in the Lincoln County, N.C. Our ragtag team care for neglected, chained and forgotten dogs throughout Lincoln County by providing food, water, shelter/straw, vet/medical care, spay/neuter, fences, walking and lots of love. We

are able to do what we do with assistance from HATS, Heart of the Carolina's Animal Ministry, Lincoln County No-Kill Animal Shelter as well as many generous individual donors. Our ultimate goal is to be able to re-home these wonderful animals into loving foster/adoptive homes whenever possible. Thank you for joining us! We are so glad you did!

***Back to School Special***

Oreo has mastered crate naps and potty training, and is currently learning to walk on a leash. He's already made Varsity Captain of the snuggle team because he is a MASTER CUDDLER. Oreo is a gentle soul who is making sure to dot all the i's and cross all the t's of puppy training so he can be the bestest boy ever in his forever home!

WE GOT YOU SWEET BOY!!
We do not know his story but we do know that we will get him better!
His foster Dad, Rome, answered our plea for help and he and I picked him up from Gaston County Shelter this morning and got him settled back into the home he will be recovering in.
He could not be any sweeter and anyone in Rescue knows that when you save a dog they seem to know you are there to help.
Rome is still working on a fitting name.
He goes to see Dr Watson at Carolinas Veterinary Medical Hospital on Tues with surgery tentatively scheduled for Thurs to repair his broken femur. Meanwhile he has already relaxed having a cool, quiet place to rest and decompress.

Not only is Zula a MASTER at solving puzzles, she's also GOT MOVES and ENTHUSIASM that's sure to land her the title of CHEER CAPTAIN for the Zoomies Team! WE GOT A FOSTER AND WILL BE PICKING UP THE BOY TOMORROW!!! THANK YOU TO ROME STEWART!

📣🚨URGENT!! NEEDS IMMEDIATE PLACEMENT BY 12 PM 9/3!

This sweet boy, in spite of all the pain he must be in, has done nothing but be gentle and affectionate. It breaks our hearts that he has been wandering like this since yesterday, but he is safe with Gaston County Shelter and they are trying their best to ease his pain.

His back right femur is broken. Unfortunately, his road to recovery will require more care than what the shelter is able to provide BUT WE CAN HELP HIM IF SOMEONE STEPS UP TO FOSTER!!!

We just had a dog in our care (Alfonso) with the same situation so we have the perfect vet who can do this surgery and Alfonso is doing great now!

Please, please someone help! The entire point of rescue is to HELP THE ONES THAT NEED US!! That is exactly dogs like this one!
