Trying to resist the urge to throw these all in the trash.

I spent several hours yesterday carefully printing these. I had purchased registration pins and tabs specifically for this project. I created a jig to keep things from shifting around.

And stillā€¦ smudges everywhere. Uneven ink coverage. Shifts in registration. My head hurts.

One. I got one that is acceptable. Not perfect. Not how I envisioned itā€¦ just acceptable. I was so discouraged. Now Iā€™m rethinking the whole project because my inner critic is having a field day telling me how unskilled I am.

Today, I decided to trim out the majority of them to get rid of the stray smudges in the margins. Now I donā€™t mind the patchy color or handmade look. Helloā€¦ they ARE handmade. They would make great bookmarks if they were on thicker paper. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļøIt is a relief that they werenā€™t a total loss. Iā€™ll probably slip them into orders and an extra.
