Meet Virgil & Hazel! The day started out cloudy, but now it’s a beautiful 75° and sunny, the perfect weather for these two siblings to enjoy some outdoor fun! Today has been filled with sunbathing, sprinkler zoomies, and plenty of fetch with their favorite ball. 🐾🎾💦 This is only Virgil and Hazel’s third stay with us, and watching their confidence grow has been so rewarding. 🥹 During their first visit, they were a little unsure and tended to keep their distance. Now, you’ll often find them curled up in a lap or right beside one of our team members soaking up all the love. ❤️

Seeing dogs learn that we’re a safe, happy place is one of the best parts of what we do. We’re so proud of you, Virgil and Hazel!

Ending the week on the sweetest note with Bear! 🐾 This handsome 9-week-old puppy came in for his very first visit with us and absolutely stole our hearts. Bear met with Dr. Schenck, showed off his puppy charm, and quickly let us know that peanut butter is definitely one of his favorite things! 🥜 We can’t wait to watch this little guy grow up. Sweet Ruby was such a brave girl for her big surgery day last week! She underwent her spay, hernia repair, and gastropexy like an absolute champ and has been recovering beautifully so far.
