💔 Urgent Help Needed for a Brave Survivor! 💔
This sweet chocolate merle fluffy Frenchie has endured more than any pup should ever face. He survived a violent, terrifying attack by a much larger dog, escaping with 30+ bite wounds and substantial facial swelling. His tiny body fought with everything he had just to stay alive — and somehow, through all the pain, he’s still trying to trust, still trying to be brave.
Now he’s at the beginning of a long and complicated road to recovery, one that will require intensive medical care, ongoing treatment, and constant monitoring. It’s far more than our rescue can manage on our own, but we refuse to give up on him.
We’re asking our incredible community — the people who always show up for the forgotten and the fragile — to come together for him. 💛🐾

Update: the two adorable puppies, that are now named Bacon and Sausage, went to the vet today to see what the vet thought about their injuries. They both received a lot of stitches, pain, medicine, and antibiotics. I am attaching some pictures of the vet’s work today.

Well, rescue is always interesting!

We are helping a group of puppies and their mama. They were being dropped off on Saturday at a rescue partner in another state so that we can go pick them up in a few weeks.

When they showed up, two of the puppies had buried deep wounds to their neck. The lady who had been raising them, said a dog attacked them. They look to be very clean, deep cuts, so we don’t really know what happened. They are very cute, very sweet little puppies. We have them at the vet out of state to make sure they are going to be OK and nothing gets infected. We are pretty sure their vet bill will be expensive. One of the photos is pretty graphic, so be aware if looking at a deep cut will bother you.

If anyone would like to make a donation to our rescue, that would be fantastic. These puppies will be in Colorado at the beginning of November.
