is a volunteer-run, foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation based in Northern Colorado and the Greater Denver Metro area committed to protecting and improving the lives of abandoned, abused, rescued, and surrendered Dachshunds and which is supported entirely by donations, grants and fundraisers. VISION STATEMENT
•To provide temporary shelter in a safe, caring foster home to stray, abandon

ed, abused, surrendered and discarded commercial breeding dogs for the purpose of finding permanent suitable new homes;
•To provide spay and neuter services and any necessary medical care to those Dachshunds in our care;
•To work with area rescues, shelters and humane organizations to develop a solid network of volunteers and supporters in order to create a better place for homeless Dachshunds;
•To promote public awareness and education of pet overpopulation, large commercial breeding facilities, health and wellness of our pet population and to educate on the value of senior, rescued and special needs Dachshunds.

Look what was delivered from Beverly and Richard to help restock our Doxie Foster program pantry 🥳🥳🥳🥳
They adopted Tito from us and wanted to give back so others will be helped as well🥰
They sent all these items off our wish list at Chewy.com to help our fosters with the pups. The doxies will have toys, leashes, new beds and food while they are getting ready for their forever homes🏡🐶🦴🍖
We are so GRATEFUL for every donation !!!!!

We have an update we’d like to share with you about Duke.

At his last dental procedure, it was discovered he had a heart murmur.

Duke has undergone an echo cardiogram and we have figured out what exactly was going on with him. He will be starting on some new medication and this will keep him living a healthy active life for years to come.
His heart conditioning is very common for an older Dog .
Will let you know his progress.

an anonymous donor sent all items off our wish list at Chewy.com to help our fosters with the pups. The doxies will have toys, a new crate pad, digestive aid, a new bed and food while they are getting ready for their forever homes🏡🐶🦴🍖

Hi Team Doxie!

We have a specific need for foster homes that can take in a dog that needs to be the only dog in a home as well as homes that can take in bonded pairs. Most dogs we take in are not suited for shared walls as they have the typical Dachshund trait of barking at everything.

We are specifically looking for support in the South Denver Metro area.
