Despite having a rough start, this sweet 1 year old King Charles cavalier mix, Maxwell, is on the road to finding his forever home. We will update as he is closer to adoption ready, but for now we are loving him and getting his appts all set up. More on Max to come! ❤️‍🩹

Just look how gorgeous this boy is! He love to play fetch, without fetching the ball lol. He runs for it every time and never picks it up. He might learn one day how this fetch thing works 🤣

Please share for Ace!
We still have this beautiful 2 1/2-3 year old boy looking for his permanent forever home. UTD on vaccines, neutered, tested and heartworm/lymes negative, and healthy! Ace came to us pretty broken, but with patience and time we’ve gotten him well on his way to being the goodest boy! He’s a people lover, counter surfer, and dog lover. He is good with everyone he’s met on our adventures. He still pulls on the leash, he doesn’t know his strength and he’s just excited to be out and about, exploring the world. He is crate trained, and has done very good with house training since being fixed. Ace is a big boy, still with lots of energy. He would make an amazing hiking buddy! He would do best with a fenced yard, and a patient adopter who is able to continue training him. I promise he will make you smile, he’s just hoping his people come across him soon! ❤️‍🩹 🐾

A little update here at Rescue Me:
Thank you to all of our adopters and followers yet again. To those who dont know, this last week has been quite the ride. We are getting through our applications as quickly as possible after an our director, my wife, spent 4 days in the hospital battling many health obstacles and is still on a path of many questions. As she was in the hospital…our kids and I cared for and played with all the dogs, as she set aside her own battles because its all her heart ever wants, the dogs to be taken care of.

We still have our big love bug Ace available, and just took in a beauty, Mila, who probably already has an adopter.

Tank will be headed to his forever tomorrow, on a beautiful farm with lots of land!

Starky is now pending as well! 🎉🎉

Help us find Ace his forever home by simply sharing! We have had some time to get to know him better and for him to begin opening up to us!
Ace has been neutered, received his updated vaccines, tested & negative for heartworm/lyme/tickborn diseases, and current on flea/tick meds. He has been a wonderful boy, still with lots of energy! He would do best with a fenced yard, and an active family. Ace is very sweet to kids 6 and up, but he is large and doesn’t know his size, so we recommend teens and older with this beauty. He is very shy at first but within a few days he opens up and really starts to shine. He is fully crate trained and housebroken, except for a few times marking (since his neuter we have not witnessed this). There could be a period of regression as he learns his new home as well. Ace would be a great dog to be able to work with while he has a great start on many things already. He’s about 2 years old, a Collie mix, and living life now!
He LOVES other dogs, he wants to chase our cats, but has not hurt them. We recommend a home without cats so he does not stress the resident animals out in his new home.

Starky had his vaccines updated last week, his grooming appt yesterday and he wants to show you how handsome he is! That Pom Pom tail 😍(it doesn’t stop wagging so you cant even see how adorable it is)! He’s such a happy boy, and anyone who loves a Velcro dog, Starky is it! He sleeps with you, sits with you, and follows you… he’ll be ready after his neuter! Maltese/shihtzu mix
🐾 He is house trained
🐾 Good with dogs his size and smaller with slow introductions
🐾 He’s shy at first but opens up quickly
🐾 He bonds hard
🐾 So much love in that little body! 🥰

A quick foster pupdate!
We broke our 1-2 fosters at a time rule lol. Since Christmas there have been many owner and breeder surrenders. This saturday Starky gets groomed 🎉 and next friday Starky (the shihtzu/maltese mix) and Tank (the corgi) go to get neutered. Layla goes for spay on 1/23. We have a busy month but thankful to be a part of these precious souls journey.
