🐾Today is National Dog Day!🐾

❤️Everyday I wish I was able to put into words what exactly it is that dogs do for me. When it comes down to it, it’s the unconditional love. You can tell them anything and they will accept it. You can have hard days and they’re the ones helping you through it without even knowing. You can be celebrating and happy as ever and they’re right at your side equally as excited for you. Dogs cant talk, but they can sure communicate in so many different and fascinating ways.

🌹This National Dog Day I also want to appreciate my amazing, loyal, understanding and motivated clients. You guys have made my dream career possible and continue to support me in so many ways while also letting me into the lives of your pets/families and trusting me to care for them. Thank you.

💕I often get asked when Koda will be “finished” or “done with training.” The answer is she’s never fully finished and there’s always room to learn!

🌸Kodas newest task is a (very enthusiastic) behavioral interruption to stop me from scratching my eczema. Before that she learned interruptions for anxious behaviors as well as Deep Pressure Therapy!

🐷Dogs are an amazing tool for managing physical or mental struggles. 💕

❤️One of my favorite and most useful things to teach is the “middle” command. We use this often in check out lines, during busy events, narrow spaces and many other places.

🎈This helps ensure that Kodas paws and tail are safe and out of the way from shopping carts and other people! It’s also pretty cute 🥰

❤️The 4th of July is coming up quickly! If your pet needs medication, now is the time to contact your vet. Not July 3rd.

🤍More dogs go missing on the 4th of July than any other day of the year. Please pay attention to your pets.

💙Create a safe, quiet and dark space. Provide fresh water, offer food and offer enrichment. Check on your animals frequently. Keep them away from doors and INSIDE or on a leash outside for potty breaks.

🇺🇸The 4th of July is so much fun until you’re spending the 5th searching for your beloved pets. Please be aware this year. Happy 4th!

❤️What a great year it’s been! I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many amazing dogs and owners this year.

🩵Watching owners change their mannerisms, learn to manage their own emotions when training and witnessing both ends of the leash learn how to communicate with each other is easily one of my favorite parts of the process.

💜Huge thank you to all of my lovely clients, new and returning, for making this all possible and trusting me with your beloved pets. Thank you to my support system for teaching and supporting me on good and bad days while I navigate being a business owner!
