After adopting our own dogs, we experienced firsthand how difficult it could be to find the right help and support. I saw how much guidance, patience, and understanding can make a difference—not just for the dog, but for the relationship between the dog and their owner.
That experience is a big part of why I started this business: to help rescue dogs and their people build better, healthier relationships. ❤️
Since 2023, A Friend of Jack has been part of that journey. I’ve had the opportunity to work with their fosters and adopters, helping them better understand and support their dogs.
It’s been incredible to work alongside such a professional rescue organization with an amazing team doing truly awesome work for dogs who might not otherwise get a second chance. 🐶
At Dutchie Dog Training, we’re proud to support rescue dogs and the people who open their homes and hearts to them. That’s why we offer free in-home evaluations and special discounts on our private in-home training and boutique board & train programs for the A Friend of Jack fam, rescue volunteers and adopters.

🐾 Rescue Dog 101
Available in your home or at a convenient location, this session helps your newly adopted dog settle into their new environment. We’ll show you how to start building a healthy relationship and create the right foundation from day one.
🏡 Customized Private Training
Our in-home and at-location programs are tailored to you and your dog’s individual needs. Together, we’ll work on strengthening your relationship while addressing any behavioral challenges.
🛏️ Boutique Board & Train
No large facilities. No rotating trainers you’ve never met.
Your dog stays in our home and is cared for like one of our own. You’ll receive regular updates throughout their stay, because we don’t take your trust in us—or your dog—lightly.
