It’s happening!!!! The fire safety equipment that will allow us to have cats living here overnight is being installed this week. We hoped it would be done before Friday, but they’ve delayed starting, so we may be closed on Friday also. We’ll let you know. We’ve decided to stay closed today, though, because it’s our anniversary!! Fun fact: at our wedding we threw stuffed animals of cats (Pusheen and Stormy, iykyk) instead of the traditional stuff. We said the people who caught them would be next to adopt a cat. Here we are, seven years later, putting the finishing touches on a cat adoption center… Can’t believe this is real life.
