Flip your dog's treat bag over and look for corn syrup.
If a treat is soft, sweet, and still good six months from now, something is making it that way. Usually sugar.
Dogs don't need a sweet tooth satisfied. High fructose corn syrup is in there for texture and taste, not for your dog.

One ingredient. It's chicken hearts.

We get asked at markets what else is in them, and the honest answer is nothing. They go in the dehydrator whole, they come out, they go in a bag. No glycerin, no preservatives, no flavor sprayed on at the end.

Hearts are dense in taurine, which is part of why we picked them over the usual chicken breast jerky everyone makes. Dogs also just lose their minds over them, which helps.
