Got a text the other day from about how she lead a training class with 20 dogs today. 🥲

Cindy is a schoolteacher by day and entered into the Pack Leader Blueprint program last summer with aspirations of doing more with dogs but an absence of certainty and confidence around doing it. Cindy knew a ton about dogs and had a strong obedience background but something was still missing for her.

Cindy went all in with her PLB program and before our three months was up was hosting small group puppy classes at her house. Immediately after that she layered in a pack walk for the teachers at her school and now she is leading group classes with 20 dogs. 🔥

Cindy’s success is a reflection of her dedication to do something bigger and willingness to take a chance on something that may or may not work.

Cindy’s success, along with the list of other students who have come through and put the work in, demonstrate that the Pack Leader Blueprint program works. It compresses time because it takes what has taken me over a decade to refine and puts it into a digestible format with layers of unlimited support.

It is also not a magic pill. It requires dedication from the student on a level that matches Cindy’s. But with those variables combined, it absolutely works.

Having a dog who loves you is great, but having a dog who understands and trusts (respects) you - that is the true game changer. Moments that were once stressful have become special and enjoyable!
If you’re wondering how to achieve similar results and enjoy the time spent with your dog, I joined a supportive, motivated community dedicated to knowledge, growth and support.
It’s backed by an amazing trainer (Ridge Vogel) who shares his vast amount of knowledge and experience in an academic yet practical way. You spend 90 days going through the Pack Leader Blueprint Program from Pack Leader University. There are 4 guest speakers who hold live Q&A’s - these experiences pay for themselves! Examples of previous speakers have been Cheri Wulff Lucas, Millie from Mirror Image K9 LLC, Brian from The Balanced Dog and more!
The community doesn’t end there, either. After your 90 days are up, you’re welcomed back to watch the live Q&A’s with speakers from new rounds, and the slack community is forever 🫶🏻
The results are evident and lasting. People enter the program with doubts, insecurities, and a lack of confidence to grow. They leave with a mindset that allows them to overcome those doubts and insecurities and be the leader they always could be. Everyone has left feeling sufficient in their achieved results! We’ve had owners with dogs who present with a endless amount of unwanted behaviours, as well as owners just seeking higher knowledge.
I had that knowledge but no clue how to put it in practice, and my environment was not conductive to growth. I joined the program seeking more knowledge, but ultimately a community who could provide accountability and support. My glass ceiling was shattered and I’m forever grateful for this amazing program!

I met Jessica at a workshop in Utah a few months back and was all around impressed with her leadership and presence. And her first aid skills 🙂.

Jess leads pack walks in SLC and recently made a trip to Denver to help out and offer some instruction at a pack walk.

I accept your shout out and raise you another 🙂

For real though, Cindy is one of several Pack Leader Blueprint alumni who are taking their knowledge and skill set out and paying it forward to their community.

Cindy, who is an elementary school teacher herself, organized a monthly pack walk for the other teachers at her school. To nobody’s surprise, she received outstanding feedback and engagement. 👏

The biggest reward for me in doing this work is to see others truly become empowered in their interactions and understanding of dogs. I believe you really know what you are doing when you can effectively lead others through the work, and that is exactly what Cindy is doing. 🙂

I train dogs, but above all else I am a human trainer. The real magic for me is seeing the human transform- not the dog.

A dog will transform if you give it the appropriate support and information, but the sustainability of that transformation is fully contingent on the humans and surrounding environment’s capacity to continuing to nurture that growth.

Dog trainers that don’t train humans as well are spitting into the wind. 💨🌬

Our dogs are ALWAYS communicating something. Whether we hear is a reflection of how well we understand their language and how well we are listening.

This is not a boo hoo poor us post.

This is a holy crap check this out and LEARN SOMETHING post.

That’s Pancake, semi passed out drooling up a storm. She has seizures, big big ones and then gradations of them (seizures don’t always look like you think they do).

I could tell all day something was a touch off cause she whined a few times and she drooled a little earlier. Then tonight came the crying in the kennel and me opening it to find a puddle of drool.

Once again, dogs are ALWAYS communicating something. Most of us don’t hear their communication because we don’t speak “dog” very well.

But we can learn, and understanding them makes navigating stuff like this much more simple. Simple doesn’t mean easy, but simple is simple.
