Jade is a happy, playful girl who can't wait to share her joy with a family of her own. Jade loved getting ready to go out to see the snow this past week!!!
Jade is a very sweet 1 y 9m old Hound mix female with some puppy energy and a gentle, loving nature. Jade has had a rough start in life, including surgery on her back legs, but she moves well, plays happily, and continues to show her resilience. She may develop some arthritis in the future, but with proper care and lots of TLC, she should continue to do great.
Jade is fully vetted, up to date on her vaccines, heartworm negative, and comes with a year's supply of flea/tick preventatives.
Jade is ready for meet-and-greets in Denton, TX. She knows some basic commands, shows signs of being house-trained, but will need instruction in a new environment. Jade bonds closely with people and does best with slow introductions, so a few visits might be best for building trust and creating a bond with new friends. Her ideal home is with older children or adults only, as she has never been around the energy of children. Jade would do well in a home that provides her with structure, playtime (Jade loves to play with stuffed toys, kiddie pools in the yard, and tennis balls), and a nice, soft bed to take long naps on and cuddle up with her favorite person or people each and every day. Jade is ready for a loving home where she can feel safe, cherished, and truly part of a family.
