Hey y’all! It’s been a while. Just wanted to drop in and give updates. First: I’m back! I may still have pain in my foot, but I can finally use it to sew again! (Trying to sew with the other wasn’t working out after all). I know orders going out has been at a standstill for the last 3 months or so since I got hurt (and had surgery), but I’m finally back in my chair zooming to get things done.
I still have pain, some days are worse than others, and I’m still going through pt… but I do have the clearance to get back to sewing. Which. Yay! I know you are all eagerly awaiting orders, and wondering on updates for those. Im starting with order batches again, doing 2-3 vests at a time, then sending them out. That is my plan moving forward. Please bear with me, as starting out may be slow. I’m trying to get back in the swing of things, and I have to jog my memory a little lol. We love you guys and so appreciate you for sticking with us during this crazy ride of a summer.

Hi yall! This is Jenna- we want to thank you all again SO MUCH for your patience during this medical debacle- you are all appreciated more than you know. This week, Caitie sees the doctor and they will decide if she gets to come out of her boot and transition into an ankle brace and sneakers. If that happens she will begin PT. This is our hope as that should help her regain some mobility in her foot and ankle!!!!

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOUR ORDERS?!?!?!
Up until recently, Caitie has been unable to even sit at her workstation without a lot of pain. This week she has been able to start sitting for longer stretches and getting some things on the embroidery machine. It’s awkward to sew with the big boot in the way, even with the opposite foot, but we are starting to get some sewing done a little at a time, albeit slowly.

Again, we thank you so much for your patience, as we know this has been frustrating for you as well. We will be including a few freebies in your packages for your patience!!

Hey Guys, it's Jenna! Caitie is out of surgery! Doc said it went well, she had a torn ligament and a torn tendon but the rest was all inflammation. She's been brought to recovery and they have just brought me back. She's doing ok she's just tired. They're gonna go over everything with me be she can't go home yet until physical therapy comes and until her oxygen level stays above 88 without oxygen on

Hi Blue Eyed Fox Fam, it’s Caitie with an update. My surgery is Tuesday (bright and early). Doc says we’re doing a Brostrom repair/bridge in my ankle to repair both my perineal tendon and my ATFL ligament. (Sounds like so much fun… I… ummm TOTALLY can’t wait O.o). I’ve been working on a small batch of orders as much as I can handle sitting with my foot down. (A bunch of embroidery, although I have become more confident with my other foot sewing some things. I think we’re ready to take it to orders. Anyways, I’ll be taking a few days to rest depending on how bad this pain is. Then hopefully I can hop back over to my chair and get to work while not being able to walk 🙂 I’ve only ever had knee surgeries, so I don’t know how ankle surgeries compare. I’m super nervous, but my doc is a good one. She’s done this surgery on Jenna AND her mom in the last 3 years. I guess it comes in 3’s lol. Trying to keep good thoughts as we go into this, and hopefully healing will happen fast!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to drop in and give everyone an update. I got the results back of my MRI on my injured foot and I have a torn ATFL ligament that is torn almost all the way through. I see the doctor this coming week but surgery will most likely be necessary as the pain is getting worse not better, and last time I saw her she said I will most likely require surgery given my symptoms. I am trying to teach myself to sew with my left foot which is my non dominant foot so | can still work on orders for ya'll. I want to thank everyone for your patience and understanding as we have been going through this. Here's hoping this goes ok!

Hi everyone,

So we have had a bit of an accident. Caitie was going down some stairs with a bookshelf and she fell and her ankle folded under her and the bookshelf fell on top of her. She is now in a boot for 2 weeks and then doc said we will go from there. Unfortunately it is her sewing foot, so operating her sewing machine is difficult right now. Unfortunately because of this, some orders are going to be delayed. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this situation.
