Teaching Dogs - Training People
We help your companion dog be the best they can be. Most often your dog comes to live with us and is trained in a home environment, so that we can reproduce challenges you face with your dog in your own home. We teach dogs how to "be". We then train YOU, how to keep up those skills, and how to communicate effectively with your dog. In our residency training program, we do all the hard work, and they your job is to keep up what they learned and start enjoying your dog! We also offer programs where we can work with you one on one if that is your preference. Training help is always available even after your dog is trained.....as we offer FREE Group Polishing Sessions and FREE Outward Hound trips (hikes and walks to various locales in order to socialize the dogs) to all dogs who graduate from one of our programs. Specialties:
Aggression, Jumping, Biting, Nipping, Pulling on the leash, how to get your dog to come when called, Housebreaking, Crate Training, Potty Training, how to get your dog to walk nicely on a leash, and much, much more. We can prepare your dog to be a therapy dog too!

You think I’m kidding about having the best clients ever? This is from wiggle-butt Poppy’s Mom. Wiggle butt Poppy comes for vacation-was trained by me a while back (and is a different Poppy than Golden Retriever, Poppy).

His Mom has always brought me the best candies, and most beautiful flowers. I mean-Dark Chocolate. Add Caramel. Top with Sea Salt. Seriously, Folks. Stage Stop Candy - in Dennisport is crazy good!

I am sorry for all the other dog trainers out there, but I have THE BEST clients in the world. No, you can’t have them.
Poppy the adorable Golden went home yesterday. (I may or may not have cried). After 17 years it still makes me teary to see how far they came and then to see their happy, loving family taking them home to live their best lives! There is nothing like helping a dog reach their potential and helping a committed family who will do the work to ensure progress continues at home. I absolutely LOVE my clients.

Thank you SO MUCH to Poppy’s family for the lovely thank you card, and gift of Clancy’s! I am so touched.

Finn, Dante, and gal Poppy all working on Place. Poppy is in training, and is very interested in Dante. Alas, he is intact and she is as well, so no dating for these two. I’m supervising them like a Nun at one of my Catholic High school dances!
