WOW! What a weekend!

That’s honestly all I can say! This weekend has definitely been ONE FOR THE BOOKS! 🤩

First, a huge thank you to the Acadiana Kennel Club for putting on an absolutely amazing show! What an incredible weekend surrounded by beautiful dogs, great people, and unforgettable moments!

A special thank you to Judge Kerry Lenn for recognizing our beautiful dogs on October 17th!

Terrier Puppy Group 1 TWICE!

With this weekend’s accomplishments, King now has TWO MAJORS and 10 points toward his AKC Championship! I could not be more proud of this young boy and what he is accomplishing!

And then there’s our girl… the one and only…

GRCH CH Mud-E Acres Bourbon Street Brawl BCAT

Yesterday, Bourbon brought home an incredible Owner-Handled Group 2!

But TODAY?! She went out there and did something I could have only dreamed of!

OWNER-HANDLED GROUP 1!!! Under Judge Timothy Robbin’s

TWO GROUP FIRSTS IN ONE DAY!

I am still trying to wrap my head around it! Watching Bourbon walk into that ring and compete against such beautiful terriers, then come out on top, is a moment I will never forget.

This girl continues to amaze me. Her heart, her attitude, her drive, and her love for the show ring make every mile, every early morning, and every bit of hard work worth it.

These are the moments we work so hard for. The moments that remind us why we fell in love with this breed and this sport in the first place.

I am beyond proud of both of these dogs and so incredibly thankful to the judges who recognized their quality this weekend!

The Teddy Roosevelt Terriers showed up and showed OUT in Acadiana!

Having Beautiful Teddys takes a massive effort from multiple Kennels working together.

JR took BEST OF WINNERS in McDonald, TN and walked away with not one, but TWO 3-point majors!
That means our boy is now just ONE POINT away from finishing his AKC Championship. One more point and it’s officially CH Lickety Splits JR!
Huge thanks to the judges for appreciating our little guy, and to everyone who has cheered us on along the way. We couldn’t be prouder of this sweet, hardworking boy.
Next stop: Champion. Stay tuned…

On June 6th, GRCH Mud-E Acres Bourbon Street Brawl BCAT stepped into an AKC ring for the very first time.

We walked into Lake Charles with no idea where this journey would take us. We weren’t chasing rankings. We weren’t expecting to end the year sitting among the top dogs in the country. We were simply excited to get in the ring, learn, have fun, and see what this young girl could do.

And now… here we are.

#7 Teddy Roosevelt Terrier in the Nation — 2026 National Owner-Handled Series.
Orlando bound for the NOHS Finals!

From her very first weekend in June to finishing the year Top 10 nationally… I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. We truly didn’t think we would be here, but Bourbon just kept showing up and giving me everything she had.

Four months ago was our first step into the ring. Now we’re headed to Orlando as #7.

What a way to finish our first season together.

Bourbon, you little dog… look what you did. 🥹

Also a HUGE congratulations to everyone who finished in the Top 10 and earned their invitation to Orlando! This breed had some beautiful dogs out there competing this year, and every point represented miles traveled, early mornings, long weekends, wins, losses, and a whole lot of work.

No matter where everyone finished, seeing Teddy Roosevelt Terriers represented and succeeding is something worth celebrating.

What a weekend in Tennessee for Bourbon!

In a beautiful entry of 10 Teddy Roosevelt Terriers, Bourbon showed up and showed out. She earned her AKC Grand Championship, went Best of Breed twice, and added her BCAT title!

She is now pending AKC:

GCH Mud-E Acres Bourbon Street Brawl BCAT

Her résumé continues to grow : Owner Handler Top 10, multiple Owner-Handled Group placements, multiple Best of Breed wins, Best of Opposite S*x, Best Puppy, Champion, Grand Champion, and now performance titled.

I’m incredibly proud of this girl and everything she continues to accomplish. She proves that she can be beautiful in the show ring while still having the drive and athleticism a Teddy should have.

What an incredible opportunity!

When I was asked to represent the Teddy Roosevelt Terrier in the September 2026 issue of SHOWSIGHT Magazine, I was truly honored.

This breed means so much to me, and being given the opportunity to help represent Teddies on a platform dedicated to the purebred dog world is something I don’t take lightly. I’m incredibly passionate about preserving this breed, educating others about what makes them so special, and helping Teddy Roosevelt Terriers continue to grow while staying true to the qualities that make them Teddies.

Seeing it in print makes it even more surreal!

Thank you for trusting me with the opportunity to represent a breed that has become such a huge part of my life. Here’s to continuing to educate, preserve, show, and advocate for these amazing little dogs.

Check us out in the September 2026 issue of SHOWSIGHT Magazine — page 248 and 249!

✨ Meet Twinkle ✨

This handsome little Teddy Roosevelt Terrier is quite the character! Twinkle is a playful, happy boy who absolutely loves people, other animals, and being part of whatever is going on.

He’s already:
Litter box trained
Microchipped
Vet checked
Had 2 sets of vaccinations
Regularly dewormed

Both of his parents have completed their breed-specific health testing and are clear of the conditions tested for.

Teddy Roosevelt Terriers are incredibly smart, eager to please, and happiest when they’re right alongside their people. Twinkle is no exception he’s got plenty of personality, loves to play, and is always happy to soak up some attention.

This sweet little guy is 👀 4 his person.
