Adoption fee is $60, the adopted pet(s) will be current with age appropriate vaccinations and worming, will also have been given flea medicine and spayed/neutered before leaving the Shelter. We have over 200 cats and dogs that need forever homes. Please consider adding some love to your life and adopt a homeless pet from our animal shelter. We also have opportunities daily for you to foster or vol

unteer. We also handle animal control issues from within the City limits of Denham springs

These three juvenile kittens are very scared and unsure of the shelter environment. They may hiss when you first meet them, but please don’t let that fool you—they are NOT mean babies. 🥺💕

They’re simply frightened and don’t understand that the people around them are there to help.

What they need most right now is a quiet, safe place, lots of patience, and someone willing to let them come out of their shells at their own pace. 🏡🐾

A social foster could make ALL the difference for these little ones. ❤️ Sometimes all a scared kitten needs is someone to show them that hands can be gentle, homes can be safe, and people can be trusted.

Five years ago, Diva came through our doors. And somehow, five years later, she is still watching everyone else find their families while she remains behind.

One thing we want people to understand about Diva is that she does not show well in her kennel—and that isn’t her fault. 💔 Shelter life can be overwhelming for her, and her kennel behavior simply doesn’t show the sweet girl she could be outside of that environment.

Diva was given the chance to leave the shelter once, and she was terrified. She was so overwhelmed by everything that she didn’t know what to do. 🥺 That experience showed us that Diva needs someone special—someone willing to give her time, patience, understanding, and a chance to feel safe.

She may not be the dog who runs up to the kennel and immediately wins your heart. She may need you to look a little deeper. ❤️

But after FIVE YEARS, isn’t she worth that chance?

Diva dreams of a quiet home, a soft bed, and someone who will tell her, “You’re safe. You’re home. I’m not leaving you.” 🥺🐾

🏡 Diva MUST be the only pet in her forever home. She needs to be your one-and-only so she can have the time, attention, and patience she deserves.

Please don’t let a kennel be the reason Diva gets overlooked again.
