LOCAL PET OWNERS I NEED YOUR HONEST OPINIONS!
Hey Yall, long post coming but its SUPER IMPORTANT
As many of you know fair and accessible pricing is extremely important to me, but I also want my prices to reflect the experience, individual attention, and quality of care every dog receives. I would love feedback from local dog owners about my current pricing, the services you’re most interested in, and what you feel would make sense for your household.
Here’s what I currently offer:
Daycare — $45 per day
Structured daycare in small, carefully selected playgroups of approximately 5–7 dogs. Unlike a large commercial daycare, every group is supervised by a professional trainer with a background in canine behavior. Playmates, activities, rest breaks, and enrichment are tailored to each dog’s personality, play style, comfort level, and needs.
Play & Train — $85 per day
Play & Train includes the same safe socialization, small playgroups, enrichment, and structured rest as daycare, along with individual training sessions throughout the day. Training is based on each dog’s specific goals, so they receive personalized attention while still enjoying a fun and fulfilling day.
Boarding — $50 per night
Boarding is provided in a home environment rather than a traditional kennel facility. Dogs receive personalized care, supervised social time when appropriate, enrichment, and a comfortable routine. They are kenneled overnight and whenever no one is home, with private-suite upgrades also available.
Private Training — $90 per hour (PRICE NOT TO CHANGE but important information about the future of private training)
One-on-one training designed around your dog, your household, and your specific goals. I currently offer in-home lessons, but I’m especially interested in expanding private lessons where clients bring their dogs to me. In-home training may eventually be offered primarily through multi-session packages.
Group Training Classes — Considering approximately $200 for 4 classes
Affordable, trainer-led classes that allow owners and dogs to learn in a controlled group setting. Classes may include puppy basics, manners, leash skills, socialization, advanced training, canine conditioning, and dog sports such as Rally.
I’m also considering package options for daycare, Play & Train, and private training. Would a package make you more likely to book? If so, what kind of package, savings, or included benefits would feel worthwhile and enticing to you?
I’m not looking to become the cheapest option, I want to remain fairly priced while providing ethical, personalized, high-quality care and training.
What services interest you most? Do these prices feel reasonable for the quality and level of care described? What would make you stop scrolling and actually book?
