Milly & Meme have joined the Barking Wishes family!
They will be looking for a special home looking to welcome to sweet angels into their home. 💙🐶🐾
Meme is a long haired Yorkie who weighs 5lbs, Milly is a poodle mix who weighs 10lbs
These gals unfortunately lost their owner and were passed along to a family member who was unable to care for them properly.
They are very bonded and will need a home together 👯‍♀️
Both girls are scheduled for grooming, spay, dentals, and other vetting next week and then they’ll be ready for a forever home!

⚠️ WEATHER UPDATE FOR DISTRICT 65 ⚠️

The National Weather Service is closely monitoring Potential Tropical Cyclone One, which is expected to strengthen into a tropical storm and make landfall near the Texas-Louisiana border Wednesday night.

For our area, the primary concern is NOT wind—it is heavy rainfall and flash flooding.

🌧️ Multiple rounds of storms are expected through Friday.
🌧️ Rainfall rates could exceed 2-3 inches per hour.
🌧️ Forecast rainfall totals of 4-7 inches are expected, with localized amounts up to 8 inches. In a worst-case scenario, some locations could receive significantly higher totals.
🌪️ A few strong storms may produce damaging winds and isolated tornadoes.
🚧 Flooding could lead to road closures and hazardous travel conditions.

Please use caution over the next several days:
✔️ Avoid driving through flooded roadways.
✔️ Never go around barricades.
✔️ Have multiple ways to receive weather alerts.
✔️ Monitor forecasts closely as conditions may change.
