My test hatch of LF Cochin is giving 90% fertility so far. Let's see how many make it to lockdown. Hopefully, I can start offering eggs and chicks by Fall. 😁 Would you like to add this massive fluffy bird to your flock?

FYI: a blue cockeral, splash pullet and black pullet are still growing out currently. They are just not pictured. Plus I have 3 other chicks in the brooder.

12x4 box done and planted my sweet potato slips. I may have gotten my SUV stuck in the grass. 😅 Thankfully, my husband got out of work early and happened to see me trying to get it out. 🤦🏽‍♀️

The other box still needs to be done and filled. I'm thinking peanuts! 🤔 but depending on how it goes...I might do more sweet potatoes! It's a favorite in our household. How about yalls?

I built a cool little introduction box for grow outs or new birds that need to get integrated with an established flock.

I love the food refill on the outside of the box! I need to do something similar with the water. But I haven't figured that out yet. I'm not the most gifted builder but I'm still learning.
