Couple of announcements from Peticures to Geaux! 🩵

✨ LIVINGSTON PARISH + CENTRAL: I’m adding more spots to my 1st Monday of the month route!

✨ EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH: I’m adding more spots to my last Thursday of the month route!

Both routes are for clients who can be home during the day and come with a guaranteed spot every month, no need to remember to book! You’re automatically on the route, and I’ll remind you. These spots fill quickly! I’m still taking clients outside of these days as well.

✨ ASCENSION PARISH: I’m opening up more spots on this route as well! I come to Ascension about every 6–7 weeks, and you’ll have a guaranteed spot with reminders from me. I’ll always offer both a weekday and weekend route, so you don’t have to be home during the workday if that doesn’t work for you!

✨ SEPTEMBER VACATION: I’ll be taking a little vacation in September and will be completely away from my phone for 7 days. I’m currently booking the 1st and 2nd weeks of September, so if you need an appointment, please reach out sooner rather than later!

As I acquire new clients, I get this question often, “How do you handle my anxious/nervous pet?”

One of the biggest reasons I started Peticures to Geaux was to make an easy experience as low-stress as possible. Instead of loading your pet into the car, sitting in a waiting room, and adding even more anxiety, I come to them.

I work at your pet’s pace. We take breaks when they’re needed, use plenty of treats and positive reinforcement, and never rush the process. Sometimes that means sitting on the floor with them for a few minutes. Sometimes it means giving them a chance to decompress before we continue. Every pet is different, and I adjust to what they need.

My goal isn’t just to get the service done, it’s to help your pet build trust so each visit becomes a little easier than the last. I’ve had many patients who have come such a long way while working with them overtime! Never know until you try! 🩵🐾
